rubecula
Simple questions for you. As we are no longer in the competition ..... Who do you think will win the cup this year? Who would you like to see win the cup this year? I think Arsenal will win. I would like to see a grand old team win it ... MikeO
Hate to point this out, but the final is actually on Gerrard's birthday this year. I feel a bit sick . rubecula

MikeO
Good to see Bradford draw Reading; of the two lowest ranked teams left one definitely gets to Wembley. Also glad that United will face Arse if they win tonight, so another "big" guy out. Normally at this stage of the cup I'm hoping for big teams to contest the final so that the league gets an extra Europa place for us to fight for; but as we're nowhere near that fight I'm happily going to settle back into my default position of going for the underdog . Cornish Steve
Just how many incidents do there have to be before there's an inquiry into why questionable refereeing decisions always go in favour of the richest teams? As always, follow the money. That should never have been a penalty against Preston. Matt and rubecula
MikeO
Kilbane and Lineker talking sense against complete bollocks from Neville and Hodgson. Neville says it's a "leg breaker" which it plainly isn't and the England manager suggests a penalty should be awarded because Rooney has to take avoiding action. What planet do these people live on? That's a yellow for Rooney beyond doubt. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31496270
MikeO
.....not to mention their equaliser shouldn't have been allowed because it undoubtedly deflected off Rooney in an offside position.
Cornish Steve
I dare someone to perform an academic research study of all controversial refereeing decisions to see whether they correlate with the annual turnover of the team getting the decision. Is the raw data available somewhere? I'd do it myself.

What pisses me off about divers is that when they're booked for a clear dive they get up and act all indignant that they've been booked!
