Matt
Romy, I would disagree with you on Kone. Just look at the difference when he was replaced by Naismith. Much of what he did went unnoticed, until it was no longer there. Agreed. Second half he went missing because he was exhausted.
Romey 1878
Agreed. Second half he went missing because he was exhausted. From what though? Because he certainly hadn't been working hard to help Galloway.

Paddock
When a manager makes a substitution 5 minutes from time it is usually to try and waste a bit of time or disrupt the flow of play of the opposition, particularly if it is to protect a lead. When losing 2 - 0, presumably a manager makes a substitution for tactical reasons, if so, surely you have to allow more than 5 minutes for it to have some effect? The substitution by Martinez was a complete waste of time with absolutely no logic. He was standing waiting to come on for a good 7 or 8 minutes before he come on. He was about to, we got a corner and he delYed it then the ball never went out of play for a full 6 minutes afterwards. Mi think he held off on Geri and Mirallas because our full backs were having a torrid tome all game and were relying heavily on being helped out. Geri or Mirallas don't really track back much so I think he wasright not to bring them on.
Romey 1878
Thats all I saw him do, he sure as shit wasn't helping out up front! I can only remember him actually being of any use to Galloway once, every other time he was left on his lonesome against Sagna and Navas. This! He had 2 to mark all game until he went off. It was every single time they went forward on their left Galloway was left standing there with them both in 20 yards of space.
