duncanmckenzieismagic
Good performances from Mirallas , Jags and Barkley but Baines was a class act today. Hopefully people can now see why he is in the side ahead of Galloway

Hopefully people can now see why he is in the side ahead of Galloway It's amazing how people forget how good he is. I worried that we may not see the old baines. What a fucking player. Best left back we've had since the world cup winner of 66, was he better? I'm too young to know but he is the best since 80's till now. Ray Wilson was an old fashioned full-back, good one mind but he got a nosebleed if he crossed the halfway line so hard to compare. Different game back then. Yeah some on here saying he is a defensive liability and doesn't offer much in attack. He's best left back in England full stop. 2 matches back and he's got 2 assists and was solid on the left all match. What a player he's my favorite glad he's back to his usual self. As a fellow long hair I like that he's rocking the long hair. Edited January 16, 2016 by markjazzbassist
