All the young lads were great didn't look out of place in the slightest

Toss up between Kenny and Davies but gave it to Tom, some great play and interceptions these lads could be some players in the next few seasons

Nice to end a torrid season with a win and a clean sheet for Howard

Ran his socks off today. Hopefully he gets a new lease of life next season.

he looked like a man transformed, but have to say that applies to Rom, McCarthy and Baines to today.

I've said it a few times back in the match day thread - All 4 youngsters aquitted themselves incredibly well.

One final word of praise - Unsworth and Royle. Having to lift a lost side, getting the best out of the poor first teamers and balancing with the hopeful youth was well executed. Even if it was a nothing game, they chose a team that excited. I won't be calling for them as long term replacements but they deserve a lot of credit today

Isn't it weird? We all just want the same thing. We moan and bitch but football is a simple game. We put a team out that consists of a quarter nearly of untested kids and we play good football. We all go happy and even if the result was different we could still see the difference. Can you imagine how many kids were there from 8-14 watching them lads thinking I could be them? Fucking love it

Great to see - but let's not forget it was a meaningless game against already-relegated Norwich. But maybe it will give the players something to hand their hats on as we prepare to next season.
