Rafa wasn't given the chance to have an impact on the squad. To start building his team. But in the last few days I have been thinking more and more that this could be the only sensible window at the moment. We are coming from a global pandemic. Hardly any cash into the club from tickets etc. Rubbish merchandise deal etc I think other clubs are biting off more than they can chew (Apart from Aston Villa) and that Everton are going to win in the long run from this. Was never going to be able to cope with the speed and physicality of this league. He had all the time and space when he played for Ajax. He did not have a lot of minutes for us but in those few, he looked like the easiest person to push off the ball on the pitch each time was on it.
