I like the look of chermiti. Be interesting to see what he offers in a derby. He does like a booking
What would be interesting if he started it might force us to find a different way to play, there’s been talk of looking for changes even if it involves Dyche’s clothes , with Chermitti playing it should make us play into feet and get more men around him, giving him long balls to fight for isn’t going to work for him.

Personally I wouldn’t risk him for the Liverpool game or Brentford if still not fully fit, I’d concentrate on getting him right for the Luton and Sheffield games beat these two teams and we will be safe, time to play and plan for survival and not risk players who could breakdown against teams that we aren’t realistically going to win against Liverpool being one.

I miss the bit where you said it was 'pure fantasy' . So we are pretty much in agreement - that nobody is waiting in the wings as 777 alternative. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
I’m more pleased we are on the same page, I’ve always said that I couldn’t believe others were waiting in the wings for 777 to fall flat on their faces and then step in.
To be honest at this moment in time I don’t care where the buyers come from should others come into replace 777, I just want someone to come in and stabilise us financially and if they want to sell us 2 years down the line for a quick profit too the right people I’m happy with that. -

But doesn't the 'story' say there isn't any particualr interest for Qatar for Everton FC? Story more saying that Deloitti have been asked to go out and see if they can drum up some interest for potential alternative buyer. I would say kind of proves that there is nobody currently waiting in the winds if Deloitti are have been charged with looking for alternative buyers.
There will always be buyers at the right price - but guess that's the sticking point. Nobody is going to be paying what Moshiri wants unless Premeriship saftey is assured this season. At least the worst of PSR should be behind us.
My point was nothing to do with a Qatar buyer or any other buyer, my point was all these people who believed that there were others waiting in the wings who had made themselves known to club, just proves what bollocks that was if this story is to be believed that we are having to scout for another buyer because the 777 deal looks dead in the water, due to the simple fact they can’t raise the money. So I can’t see how you’ve come up with your argument to my original post? Unless of course you are responding to someone else’s post

Well if this story has any resemblance of truth it proves that other buyers waiting in the wings if the 777 deal collapsed was pure fantasy. We are going to struggle to find a buyer unless Moshiri is prepared to put aside the money he has paid and invested into the club to one side, and make us more financially attractive to a buyer.

The right thing to do would be to asses him ore season and offer him what he is worth.
We won’t be able to afford a player of his ability for anywhere near that price.
We can’t punish the player for having an injury either. That would put us on a par with Spurs as far as morals go.
Asses him and decide what his form and ability level is, and offer him his worth. How can we assess him he’s injured and his contract is over in 4 weeks, so if we keep him we have to make a gamble and pay him what he wants before seeing what we are going to be getting.

I'd turned it off at the half, unbelievable this. Great to see
Your mate scored and got an assist, you know! the one who can only score in the championship because it’s so easy

Looking back at the game I think that was the most controlled game I’ve seen for a long time, we never dominated and bar the first 10 minutes of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half we looked pretty much in control.
It was a pleasure to see the ball being played on the floor, I’ve always said we have the players and ability to play a bit of football, in fact the hoofing up the the field from Pickford in the first 10 minutes of the first half was our worst spell in the game, hopefully Dyche has seen this and has more faith in allowing the players to keep possession with controlled passing and movement. Well I can hope can’t I? -

It’s like McNeil has just realised if you take it on you can score, 2 superb strikes in a matter of minutes.
