He's a busted flush. The longer we hold him the worse its going to be, he is shot of any confidence and he needs more than just an arm round his shoulder. Its a pity, it really is - i'd love nothing more than to lay the blame for this at the feet of moyes but really it is down to the player. He had a spell under a new manager, a less direct style and he still looks bloody scared to have the ball.

Companies should realise having a sense of humour is great PR. Webuyanycar are one of the many contemptible companies (eg payday loans) taking advantage of people in difficult financial times. Should've grabbed a rare opportunity for positive press with both hands, instead they make themselves look like idiots.

It's a good job she didn't have one covering her entire cunt, it would have stretched from Dover to Calais.

Just another faceless celebrity slag type that you have no time for. Another pointless hyperbole individual that should be dropped in an incinerator.

If people went off their tits about a new badge there will be riots if they change the team name.

Id only say no to the name change. I dont care that its not based in the district, I dont care we were called St Domingos for a season. Our history, our club is Everton F.C. Change it and its not the same club. If they build the stadium theyre entitled to name it what they want. They didnt build the club, ergo they have no right to rebrand it.

Anyway, this is all immaterial since its red bullshit

Not to mention that the name change didn't involve adding the name of a major corporation.

This is exactly what we should keep out of the door imo. Changing the name and club colours are a bridge too far for me and that's what they do with all of the football clubs they've invested in so far.

Said it before but I'm convinced DK is a character (along the lines of Alan Partridge) made up by some comedy genius.

It appears to annoys him when I say it but I think that's just an act because I'm getting close to the truth .

I do have an active lifestyle. I actively drink, gamble and lose my temper, not to mention one or two other things.

Look if people want to eat their own body weight in food I see no problem, what they do is their business.

Just stay away from elevators and public transport is all I ask.

Would love to see a video montage of every touch Naismith had during the game because I must be missing something, In the game I watched yesterday he looked awful, as he has every time I have seen him yet he seems to be getting mainly positive reviews on here. The main positive seems to be his effort, and I admit he is a tryer, but in terms of footballing ability I just don't see any, his touch is awful, decision making poor, creativity non-existent, lacks pace and/or power and has no skill with the ball at his feet. Like I say I would genuinely like to know what I a missing, because he can't be that bad if the manager continues to pick him, the fans largely seem to be happy with his contribution and even the match commentators yesterday were very complimentary about his performance.

P.s. McCarthy Motm for me, tidy and effective without being spectacular and no-one else really stood out.

So... after a fair few games, Ive come to the conclusion that we need the following:

    1. a real striker - Lukaku will do the job this season but we do need the right 20m striker as a permanent fixture to our team.
    2. a LW - Pienaar is and never was a LW, but his partnership with Baines is more than a good enough replacement. When that duo isnt there, or isnt firing, we have issues down that wing.
    3. a young, solid CB - Stones I hear you cry! truth is, we havent seen enough of him. Im sure he will come good, good enough to replace Jags in 2 years. But we have no replacement for Distin, and that needs resolving.

Fearthainn reacted to Hafnia in Martinez won't last the season
Av, I think Martinez knows quite clearly that a player he has stated is going to be technically good enough to play for any team in the world is a better option than Naismith, just like I'm sure he knows a £20m beast with no weakness is better than a misfiring jelavic.

The fact of the matter is that he has got to stick with his footballing principles even if it is going to cost him. He gave jelavic a half after his hard work against Chelsea (cheers for running your arse off last week when we couldn't play lukaku, now we can you're out). The same pretty much for Naismith.

He never picked the wrong 11, he picked the team his principles led him to pick. It allowed him to justifiably out them down the pecking order. As it happens, his subs were timely, and when they came on the team played in a manner tactically that punished the hammers.

How many times have we seen Moyes persevere with a shite player for 70 minutes - even up to 90 (if it's Phil Neville). He even did it against city yesterday, old habits die hard.

By the way, I like the look of McCarthy, very busy, wants the ball and has a good brain.

Ref stopped us finishing them off....perfectly good Felli goal given offside and then Vic's header crossed the line by a mile but not given .

Can't believe people are blaming the changes, lets smash the bulbs and light some candles to welcome Moyes back and run the same 11 into the ground. Gibson needs to gain match fitness and RM was subbing him once he waned, would have been subbed had the ball gone out for us before the goal. Coleman missed an open goal at the death too. We didn't lose because the team wasn't good enough, bad timing and a bit of luck won the game for Fulham.

The final whistle has gone and we've been eliminated, what a load of old cunt.

Fulham curse strikes again, one opposition side that's really starting to irritate now.

Another year, another League Cup exit, and I just about give up winning this goddamn tournament sometimes.

Disappointed, angry, frustrated, it's all those things right now, but not alone in feelings on these pages.

Still got the FA Cup to go for I guess. But tonight is frustrating.

Not going to lie, that was very disappointing, particularly after bossing the match for long periods of the first half, and after creating enough chances to win that 9 times out of 10. It was also very obvious that Fulham were getting more and more dangerous and nothing was done about it. Not saying only Martinez was to blame, the attitude from the players was also somewhat disappointing 2nd half.

That said, we've seen A LOT worse in the League Cup over the years, we had plenty of regulars missing against a strong Fulham side. Not going to say it's a mickey mouse cup etc, no. I wanted us to win it. But I would honestly be more disappointed if this was Monday night against Newcastle or an FA Cup tie.

Don't want to get carried away but am I allowed to at least dream about Deulofeu, Barkley, Mirallas and Lukaku slaughtering the shite in the derby?
