As with every other time we have been first to be charged with something, the rules will change before it gets to any other clubs.
We already know the independent regulator to be set up by government doesn’t believe in sporting punishments (points deductions) so we’ll take the hit. Maybe we’ll get it reduced to six points on appeal. Then the independent regulator comes in and settled with City and Chelsea on a world record fine (that will be a drop in the ocean for them).
Goodison needs to be horrible now.
My mate suggested it would be nice to see the players just run out of the tunnel and on to the pitch, refusing the stand for the premier league music and then go and shake hands with the other team on the pitch (no need to disrespect the opposition, just the competition).- Matt, dunlopp9987, Newty82 and 2 others

How can a “court of chancery” be taken seriously?

Can we get away from the whole class issue, I come on here to discuss and read about football, and really don’t want to hear about other views of class status, shoes or their job, even less about the registration of the car FFS.
I enjoy talking about shoes. I have too many trainers (so my wife says) (and my mum) (and my sister) (and my dad).

He’s got to learn when and where he can stick a leg out for those tackles. Players like Eze willl go down and that could have been two penalties, the one they got was cheap, but he doesn’t need to do that.
He will learn though, he’s doing brilliantly so far this season. -

I think he’s making many posts on this thread look a bit embarrassing. Never been as bad as some make out. Delighted for the lad.
Disagree. There’s been times when he’s been absolutely shite! But I’d always rather a player already in the building just get better than replacing them, and he has certainly got better. Long may it continue. Still needs to work on that crossing.

On the basis of the games so far, I think we can realistically be hoping to be top of the league come on the end of the season.
Back to back away wins and someone is getting very excited.

Fuck changing the style. I like it, it’s rough and horrible and fast and direct. No one will enjoy playing against us. Siege mentality on the pitch and in the stands will do me nicely.
I’ve never understood chasing a nice style of play. The only thing to go chasing is wins, and we’re getting them.

Six wins, one draw and three losses (Arsenal, Liverpool and Luton) out of the last ten in all comps.
It’s nice to see Everton winning football matches on a regular basis.- Formby, London Blue, Matt and 3 others

My head hurts after that catch up.
A few points.
Moshiri wouldn’t let the club go into administration or bankruptcy. If he sells the club he has a chance of getting quite a bit of money back to offset his losses. If the club goes into administration or bankruptcy then he’ll get fuck all. He may be shit at running a football club, but he’s not a complete idiot. He’s cashing out before he’s all out of chips.
777 don’t need to have all of the money upfront. It was reported a while back that the deal they negotiated with Moshiri is incentivised. He gets more money should milestones be reached and his payments will be spread over a few years.
Just like when Bill brought him in, he’s found buyers that are best for him, not the club. That said, I don’t see why anyone thinks they would come in and just fuck everything up. They are in the business of making money, badly run football clubs lose money. If they get the club they need to do a good job unless they want the asset to depreciate.
There may be other buyers waiting in the wings to see what happen, as rumours suggest. These buyers might also be in cahoots with 777, they are an investment firm after all. They may want to buy the club and bring in others to support the funding.
There is plenty more excitement (madness) to come yet.

I like Godfrey, I wouldn’t want us to sell him yet. He has all of the attributes to be a good centre half, I hope he improves under Dyche.
That said, wouldn’t play him above the other two right now. -

Yeah they did with allardyce.
During Sam’s time at the club our home attendance dropped below below 39,000 three times, Leicester and Southampton, below 38,000 once, 37,580 against Swansea was the lowest.
Three teams who don’t have a famous away support?
I don’t think there was much of an effect on attendances when he was at the club, according to the numbers anyway.
We report turnstile attendances, not tickets sold like Arsenal and City.
Has anyone here on TT stopped going the match due to style of play?

At the game the weekend I got some information on Mykolenko and why he seems to have upped his game this season.
there were fears he couldn’t play for the full 90 minutes.
so Everton’s sports scientists asked him to write down everything he ate for a full week when they studied what he was eating it turned out he wasn’t eating the right foods and not enough.turns out he was 40% deficient in Protein so they gave him the right diet to eat and Mykolenko said I can’t eat all that but he has had to co operate and looks like he’s gone from strength to strength.
at last it looks like we have a sports scientist who knows what he’s doing.
im very pleased with that.
If he’s not eating a load more protein it would explain why he looks so much bigger and stronger.

I don’t want to bring up old issues with people who are no longer part of the club, for whatever reason that may be, but since those people aren’t around anymore it seems like the communication has improved massively. Could those who distrusted the fans have been keeping people quiet out of the fear they had?
Kevin becoming a lot more public is a step in the right direction. Long may it continue. He can be the face of the resurrection of the club.
edit. Great words from him too. All it was missing was a sign off of Up The Fucking Toffees!
