The players have complete belief that we can get something from every game. Awesome to see and everyone associated with the club deserves credit for getting us to this point.
reminds of the year we got 4th, I remember going into games thinking we won't lose. Score first and it's game over.

I was receiving text notifications about the score during business meetings I was attending yesterday in Dallas, and I couldn't believe the score going up and up. At the airport, I read everyone's comments with praise for the entire team. That's so encouraging after all the negativity surrounding Young and Beto, both of whom appeared to play well yesterday. I hope this puts an end to the OTT criticism faced by these players. The truth is that both are contributing to our winning run. Well done to them and to everyone on the team.
Beto only just contributed..prior to that we won in spite of his performance. And I'm not judging him only on goals.
One good game doesn't mean he wasn't poor before....if they have a bad game, we are entitled to say it. Conversely, If they have a good game they should get praise.....

McNeil scores some goals for us but man is he so frustrating...earlier he ran the width of the box cos he was on his left.

Everton have lost five of their past six Premier League games against Newcastle, as many as they had in their previous 24 against them.
-
Newcastle won this exact fixture 4-1 last season and are looking to secure back-to-back away league victories against Everton for the first time since a run of three between 1958 and 1960.
-
Having won three of their first four Premier League home games under Sean Dyche, Everton have won just two of their past 12 at Goodison Park, with both of those victories coming against Bournemouth.
-
Newcastle’s Callum Wilson has scored eight goals in his past eight Premier League away games. He has also scored four doubles against Everton in the competition (including in each of his past two away games against them), with only Harry Kane (six) and Alan Shearer (five) scoring multiple goals against the Toffees more often in the Premier League.
-
Everton have opened the scoring in four of their past five Premier League matches, and have yet to lose when scoring first in the competition under Sean Dyche.
-
No team has failed to score in more different Premier League home games than Everton so far this season (four). All eight of their goals at Goodison Park in all competitions this term (five in the Premier League and three in the Carabao Cup) have been scored by different players.
Newcastle’s Callum Wilson has scored eight goals in his past eight Premier League away games. He has also scored four doubles against Everton in the competition (including in each of his past two away games against them)
good job he's injured then!

I know we all want to see a change at FB. So I am prob stating the obvious but I'd love to see Seamis play...against Gordon is just the better fit...he's got experience, he knows how we feel about Gordon and the importance of not letting him score.

First time I've seen the goal....screamer. Good composure to bring it under control and then the power to get it past the keeper.

Did they win any of those EFL cases (genuine question)
edit: disregard. I misread it. They actually represented the league. That sounds better.

I think what we are going to find is any team that was relegated in one of the 3 combined years of us exceeding the combined 105 million allowed is going to look at the options of suing us for compensation. Also to add to our woes there is a distinct possibility that we will be charged with breaking FFP rules again in January, when a draft set of accounts for 22-23 have to be submitted by the end of December and will be linked to the previous 2 years and if combined they exceed 105 million allowed we will face another charge of breaching FFP rules, and all the indications are that the draft set of accounts may not be low enough to wipe out the previous 2 years of losses. Ever get the feeling that the PL and half a dozen current and ex PL teams don’t want us around anymore.
From what I've read we will be fine once the first year on record rolls off as those losses were 100M+. 2021/22 was (45m), 22/23 was projected to be net zero. So we still have one big year contributing but that would still have all the adjustments allowed. I think we will be fine....going forward.
