You do realise that they have only 9 players right? The club is quite literally on fire at boardroom level and as a result there's not much Guardiola could do at Derby, nevermind Rooney.
He almost got them relegated last year with a full squad, he’s not a good manager.

They claim to speak better English than us would you Adam and Eve it geez
I don’t think any American thinks our English is better, you lot are way more proper and stuffy so you say it all correctly.

0 surprise here, he was a terrible choice as manager. he has no expereience coaching. i get that he's a national treasure over there but after they get relegated this year i would hope they'd finally fire him.

Being a non American, It was my highlight of the first half!
Haha, honestly I prefer the English commentators. They don’t feel the need to talk every 2 seconds and are comfortable with silence.

Did anyone else hear the American commentator in the first half shout ‘Sweet Grandmas apple pie’?
It was atrocious.

Lol, I was really drunk with a friend once and rapped about lobsters. That was both the beginning and end of my rap career.

Did....did I say that we need to go out and buy him? All I said was that for a defender of his caliber, €25m is a great price.
I don't think I've ever said that CB is our #1 priority. All I've said is that if the funds are available, and if we've filled the gaps in the rest of the squad, I would love to see us upgrade at CB.
Marky Marky why so snarky?
Mark the snark was my rap name. I jest. You’re right I read it wrong, my apologies. Thought you said you wanted him.

Barca said to want €25m for him. Honestly, for a defender of his caliber, that's pittance
koulibaly and now lenglet, why do you think we need a CB so bad?

Or if he didn’t bring players in like Tosun Delph Bernard Iwobi ect we can’t hold the managers responsible for all the dross he’s brought to the club, yet not do the same when we talk about Walsh.
Yep this is the point I made in the brands thread. They move the goalposts.

Unless I'm doing something very stupid, Disney+ in the UK gets you just Disney+
There is Disney, and then Disney+ (which includes Hulu and espn)

Aaah, that old chestnut. Not true but anyway, point was to show that having a lot of debt does not equate poor, nor is it a bad thing.
Just curious, which big company isn't an evil planet destroying force that I can look up the debt of?
its 100% true, they destroyed a massive land preserve in michigan. the government wouldn't sell them the land so they bought land next to it and sucked all the water out of the ground, preserve is a wasteland now. to your point of big corporations yes i agree they are all evil, i'm not a capitalist.

Just for anyone who doesn't understand that debt isn't necessarily bad, here's Nestles total debt; $40b.

Yet they're considered one of the most profitable and successful companies around.
Awful company gobbling up natural resources (water) and destroying nature and communities for money.

I presume he was meaning via a streaming app (which you can put on TV) vs a cable channel directly from your cable provider.
My uneducated hunch, is NBCSN is being closed down to funnel money to Peacock. Greed/survivability, but the cord-cutters have flipped the cable subscription model on it's head.
Still, NBC did better than ESPN (who is bleeding money). They have the rights to the FA Cup (and league) the last couple years, and did not put a SINGLE match on their cable outlets - everything was via ESPN+. Every round was available, which was good, but I hate the way they (and NBC) are doing it. I get it, but I don't like it. Instead of a $150 cable bill, at some point I'll have a $70 streaming service, and 10-12 $6/month subscriptions. It's already to the point in the US that it seems my apps have apps.
i like ESPN+ but i have young kids so already have a disney+ subscription so ESPN+ is free for me (hulu too) so just disney+ and netflix for me, got a friends login for HBO max i'm set, 31 dollars a month is all i'm on the hook for.

Could certainly be a factor. You would think it should apply somewhat to SoCal, AZ and SoFla as well? I believe there is a good bit of talent coming from/being developed in FL, but the current path does seem to routed through Texas to Europe.
it is strange, dempsey was from texas maybe he got all those kids excited.

This for me too, I want a nasty fucker as the captain. Someone no one wants to mess with and if he says so and so give the ball back for a pen, they oblige. Too many nice guys in this side.
