haha yeah, he gives the ball away 90% of his passes. he'll make a great run and burst and then pass to the opposition. honestly, osman out there looked decent, had some trickery and a couple shots, granted the other team was tired, but he might be an option to bench mcgeady and get his head right.

i agree somewhat with a lot of what people are saying, my main retort is simply that he is the person who their team strategically shuts down each game. in many sports you go after their "star" player and shut them down and hope no one else will step up. last season ross broke onto the scene and teams started targeting him. he had a dry patch but lukaku was banging em in during that. then they go for lukaku and coleman or mirallas is banging em in. problem is we don't have anyone to bang em in while rom is being shut down now. with ross, coleman, and mirallas injured, we're hoof to rom or pass and go nowhere. it's not his fault we are one dimensional. he can't take on 2 cb, create a play and be on the end of the play he created.

agreed matt, next run of games in the prem we need to get on a roll. villa, burnley, swansea, sunderland, west ham, spurs, hull. all winnable matches. plus i'm hoping after the break coleman will be back, which will be a huge boost defensively and offensively.

Baines, defended well and saved a couple of train wrecks at the back, and put in the cross for the goal. he also slung in a couple more crosses that should have been goals. Besic second, he was great first half, but for me he just faded, and was absent for 35 minutes of the second half and then came back last 10 minutes or so.

real disappointing campaign so far, missing 3 key players and it shows. hopefully after the international break we'll have seamus and mccarthy back. browning looks decent, don't know why he doesn't start. hibbert might need to be CB now that stones is hurt.

missed the baines penalty, my 6 month old son woke up and i was tending to him. how bad was it? atsu for mcgeady, eto'o for naisy, browning for hibbert, we need something on the right. we miss seamus, ross and kev, so much.

ROm has looked good, bad touch here and there, but holdup play has been well and he's always open as an outlet. nice runs to spread them as well.

Agreed, my dream lineup is Howard Coleman stones Distin Baines McCarthy Besic Mcgeady Naismith Pienaar Lukaku I just don't want James Stevie and Seamus rushed back and hurt again. We really need them fit for the season, hence my other lineup.
