he's trying to raise funds for a stadium. miami is a terrible sports city and previous football teams there have failed. it's a bad idea if you ask me.
Haha. He's a lot different from rom. Rom does 1v1 and 1v2 well and likes to run with the ball. Altidore doesn't do any of those well. Rom is far far far far superior. Just don't tell haf.
yeah he does well for the US team and i think that's the problem. sunderland picked him up cause he was banging em in for USA, and in the dutch league. but after hull, and this, i think it's safe to say his level is one of the lower leagues, so either back to the dutch league, or maybe a lower team in Serie A, they don't play too fast.
he's a great target man, holds up well and gets the occasional poach, but he lives and dies on service. he can't make something out of nothing.
tale of 2 halves, we played well the first half and terrible the second, draw was fair to both teams.
really like greg garza at LB, quick, attacks fast and puts in nice crosses, and decent defender. he's only 21 (i think) but played for sporting lisbon, sao paulo, he's been around the block a bit, would love to see him lock down that position.
glad that miguel ibarra got to play some minutes and got a couple touches. proud of him and proof that 2nd division has great players as well.
We're playing Honduras tonight here's the lineup
RImando, garza, besler, jones, chandler, bedoya, diskeruud, Zusi, Bradley, altidore, Dempsey
Strange that jermaine jones is a centre back, he's usually cm or attacking mid.
dang, sorry man. you could still be a good father and not marry her, just support the kid. i'm married with a 6 month old, and i can tell you from personal experience, marriage is something you only want to do if its your best friend, not worth it otherwise. that's just my 2 cents though, i wish you the best of luck man, you've always seemed a good guy here on TT.
get a test and make her take it in front of you and you take the stick and see the result. key is, make it seem like you're not suspicious at all. just "dang babe, i'm so excited, man i've always wanted tonka jr. and i wanna see the test, i missed the first one but let's take another right now. i just want to see it and feel it and enjoy the moment. i'm going to be a dad, i'm so happy"
surprise haf isn't commenting on that. usually goes on and on about how RM never has one glass of booze and how admirable and such. Rom says it and we get crickets. the lad is committed, loves us, and from hearing this interview, doesn't even have a life outside football. time to stop the rubbish and back the lad.
yeah wood didn't blow me away, but his work rate and ability to get on the ball and try and do something was nice. usually we pass around or hoof to jozy, nice to see someone taking the ball and trying to do something with it.
mixx is great, i think he's really going to be our creative spark. would love to see him further up the field, i didn't like when they made him drop deep, he's better in attack than defense. 442 looked better to me.
arsenal lead the league with injuries every year, and no one is second guessing their training methods, so no paddock i doubt that's it. just bad luck.
interesting match. first half we dominated and looked great, 2nd half not so much. chandler, garza, yedlin, and wood stood our for me. guzan is solid, but i expect him to be. wood and garza look like in a couple years time they could be some serious players. garza especially.
