  1. was a vegetarian for 6 years, i eat meat again now though. milwall i agree with you, lentils are fantastic. for tacos i treat them as meat. cook them up with mexican seasoning, and put them in the taco, then cheese, lettuce, totmato, onions, salsa, etc. tastes the same, yet way healthier. another great vegetarian protein is legumes or beans. so many different types, red beans and rice, black bean enchiladas, white navy bean pasta, garbanzo bean (chickpea) hummus. delicious. i agree with the industrialized meat thing. my wife is still working on a master's degree in nutrition. meat quality in the states is disgusting. wild game is fantastic. had elk once and really enjoyed it. i'm hoping to get some venison from all the deer around here (tons of hunters), and look forward to my wife preparing it.
  2. yet the gaffer won't start him in league matches, he just plays sub or europa/league cup stuff. addebayor gets starts over this kid. mental i tell you. i'm not complaining since it's tanking their prem season.
  3. agreed, that match more than most. a draw would be a massive result there. i feel the last fixture at home against Krasnodar is winnable and hopefully they'll be out of the competition by then and field a low strength team. the Wolfsburg match is paramount now. COYB
  4. Right and I get everyone won't vote for him, but I thought he did well and improved and if he keeps like that he will be a player Also it looks like we found our corner kicker.
  5. Everyone was fantastic. I gave it to mcgeady. 2 assists, defended well and got back, and much much improved. Glad for him, now let's see it every week.
  6. Best performance of the season for me. Complete from beginning to end. All the lads did really well and I am a very cheerful guy right now. Top of the group!
  7. lukaku beautiful pass to baines, baines beauty to naisy, and GOAL. we look amazing tonight.
  8. great first half, attacking well, linking up really well. mcgeady looking a lot better tonight, lukaku moving well and that first goal his touch was perfect to bring it down and then pass to mccarthy. very happy so far. now we need to keep attacking and not sit back.
  9. Jags another goal!!! We have our goal from a corner this season!!
  10. Osman, naisy, lukaku and mcgeady all looking class tonight. Definitely upped their game.
  11. agree matt, he's a great squad player and i do like the look of him at ACM. legs are gone, but great off the bench or for cup matches. i like ossie, got a quick shot on him and a little trickery will poke through every so often.
  12. exactly, this is how i feel. stones made mistakes, we were fine with them. jags will cover him, he's playing really well right now.
  13. imma keep beating a dead horse, play the fucking young lad from the academy, BROWNING. after sylvan and antolin leave this year it's jags, stones, browning, play the lad.
  14. Serie A, what's next Roberto to MLS and the LA Galaxy?
  15. i really hope real field a B team at Basel since they're already through. Basel draw them, and then can just play out a draw at anfield.
  16. I don't see this happening. As steve said he's in the premier league in the europa league. wife is scottish, he's spanish. I can see 2 things happening, A. he goes to a bigger premier club B. He goes to a bigger La liga club
  17. Wow, he has plenty of money, you'd think he would just want to get back in the game to do what he loves and to improve his name and get back to a decent club. At least I would. I'd coach for free and get them Europa or something and then move on to the next suitor
  18. Lucas and borini? Yikes he's phoning this one in. I hope real put 7 on them and they lose out on goal difference to Basel.
  19. I think the best part about the show is that the majority of listeners (me being one) knew nothing about cars and really have no interest in cars. Their banter and jokes were what people listened for, the cars advice was just a platform for their comedy.
  20. why is it every blue collar job i work, that i do all the work and get paid the least. fuck i am getting tired of this shit. work hard and get promoted they say, apparently not at places i get hired. one boss actually said "you're like a work horse man, we can't promote you, who would do all the work then" FUCK me, this is ridiculous. i need a drink and an office gig.
  21. so sad! i didn't know one of them died. they were ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!! their responses to peoples car problems had me LOL'ing in the car all the time. a lot of times they didn't even know but since they knew so much they were able to guess and it was like 99% right (people would call back and report back). side note, unabashed NPR lover. my wife used to work for them as well
  22. Elstone out, Cornish Steve In!! Great stuff steve, i agree with taking advantage of all the american stuff, as evidenced with the small sample size here, there are a good number of US Evertonians, and nothing is being done to increase or take advantage of that. It's the wild west over here where Football/soccer is a relative unknown just waiting to be pimped, Man U is starting to do it with all the tours here and the Chevy sponsor etc. we need to follow suit.
  23. music to my ears. yes this is what i want.
