  1. After seeing the Krasnodar lineup I think this will be seen this weekend Howard Browning Stones Jags Baines McCarthy Besic Barry Lukaku Naismith Mcgeady I really hope pienaar, Coleman, and Distin are fit and ready would love to see them in there.
  2. Interesting lineup. Half reserve minus the defense and Barry. maybe he's trying to get them all in sync with Howard to shore up the d. Osman and McGeady are not making me confident. Hopefully atsu and eto'o put some goals in.
  3. 11am central time for me. yep, but luckily i got a late call last night and my gig is pushed back to noon, so i get to watch the first half. MADE UP!
  4. aha so what i gather from that is we are an older club than arsenal but were relegated at some point. interesting.
  5. have a gig tomorrow, need to pay the bills, otherwise i would be glued to this. hoping for a win!
  6. you're right mike. unless we eat at a "greek" place, or a "middle eastern" place, it's beef and chicken. pork is a solid 3rd, a lot of people try and stay away from it.
  7. http://www.espnfc.us/blog/espn-fc-united-blog/68/post/2062885/english-premier-league-newcastles-failure-isnt-purely-alan-pardews-fault-but-hell-take-the-blame interesting, i don't know if i should be proud or offended about them wishing to be us.
  8. yeah the up and down is very crazy. portsmouth is in what league 1 or 2 now? wild. wolverhampton as well, they dropped quick. glad for our stability and staying up. we may not win, but DAMN proud to be the longest team in the prem.
  9. glad the shite lost, would love for them to get knocked out and then have to face sevilla or something in the europa. suarez was their everything.
  10. Everton squad: Joel, Howard, Garbutt, Stones, Browning, Alcaraz, Jagielka, Baines, Hibbert, Oviedo, Besic, Gibson, Barry, Osman, Ledson, McGeady, Atsu, Naismith, Eto'o, Lukaku. my guesses from that squad full go at kras Howard Browning Stones Jags Baines Besic Barry Atsu Naismith McGeady Lukaku full go at man u and the reserve side Robles Browning Stones Alcaraz Garbutt Besic Gibson Atsu Osman Oviedo Eto'o
  11. http://www.espnfc.us/arsenal/story/2065310/arsenal-players-suffered-almost-900-injuries-in-12-years-study arsenal the land of 1000 injuries
  12. sad. hope they are able to pick it up next year and get back up. 21 years, wow.
  13. he loves to get to the playoffs and lose. sorry saints fan here.
  14. welcome, i'm from new orleans, just down the road. good forum here, we even accept dirty birds side note for the non-americans- atlanta's american football team is the falcons, who have a touchdown dance known as the dirty bird, another nickname for them.
  15. agreed, i'm not great with words often called a caveman (i'm 225 lbs 6'2" doesn't help either) by my co-workers. let me try again. there are a lot of black football players, so one would think if 5% (made up for my point here, no bearing) of players got their badges, it would be around 3% white, and 2% black just due to the demographic of the players playing. but this is not the case, which is why there aren't that many black managers, they don't get the badges, so it's disproportionate because of that. my statement was more like why don't more black players go into coaching? seems a good career path.
  16. for real? that's crazy man. never heard that one before. they have some decent players up there who aren't suited to a moyes system, would love a couple of them.
  17. houghton from norwich got the sack as well. i'd like to see more black manager simply because they make up half the people playing the game! it just makes sense from a numbers perspective, but agree with haF that if they aren't getting their badges, you can't force a black manager into a role he/she isn't suited for.
  18. pardew has a 10 year deal. also mike ashley said today there are no crisis talks and par dew will be on the field for swansea this weekend. he screwed himself and is stuck with old pardew. 10 year deal? never heard of that before.
  19. Didn't know that, I hope so. He's not starting or the bench, so that seems likely.
  20. agreed eto'o on the wing is better than mcgeady. Kone can play on the wing as well.
  21. i wonder if mike ashley will finally axe his best buddy pardew?
  22. http://www.espnfc.us/united-states/story/2060791/nasl-minnesota-united-winger-miguel-ibarra-to-get-usmnt-call-upsources-say makes perfect sense (being serious). the MLS no relegation system has overlooked some of these players, and glad he's getting a chance. the mere call up will probably get him a spot in the MLS. we do need wingers, and one with pace would be nice. in other US news, chandler has started every match for eintracht frankfurt, seems to be doing well. john anthony brooks got benched and rumor is they're going to release him (would love to pick him up for everton). not seen any terrence boyd action even on the bench for RB leipzig, which is sad, i had high hopes for him. Rubio Rubin is starting every match for FC Utrecht which is nice. Bedoya is still playing about 75 minutes a match for Nantes this season, no goals or assists but he's starting. Julian Green isn't making the bench for Hamburg anymore after they fired their coach. Joe Gyau has come of the bench for Borussia Dortmund, he's one to watch. Sadly, Fabian Johnson is coming off the bench and playing left midfield (where he started with the US). Wish he could start for Monchengladbach, not mad about the midfield position. Yedlin at RB, Chandler at LB, fabian in midfield is a great way to utilize three nice talents. Brek Shea is no longer starting for Birmingham, i could care less, so overrated and the stoke move ruined his career. Geoff Cameron is still injured but will likely not see much time since they got that lad from sunderland and he is mark hughes preferred RB. Good news, Brad Guzan is doing well for Villa, he's very consistent, will be a nice replacement for Howard. Jozy Altidore finally scored in the League Cup, bet that was a nice monkey to get off his back, still coming off the bench. Emerson Hyndman is back to starting for Fulham, who are woeful but hopefully all the starting and time will help him improve.
  23. yeah, but the guy who gave him the winning vote is gab marcotti, italian englishman. so no real allegiance there. yeah the SEC thing is a joke, and their TMZ like coverage of all sports (tebow, manziel, ray rice, etc.) is stupid. but their overall scope, and breadth of their website beats out anything else i can find, so i use them.
