Btay reacted to Palfy in Sean Dyche
Dyche needs to be braver in his team selection, we need to have players in and around the midfield that have the ability to receive the ball in tight positions and then have the ability to move it on without giving it away.
All so we have stop the long balls from Pickford and Tarkowski as our favourite means of attack, they do us more harm than good, yes clear the ball long when it’s the best option of defending, but not as a tactical decision.
Dyche got lucky today that Pickford wiped is arse for him.
Next game let’s see a team selected to win the game and not just defend it.

To be fair that short pass he gave away, he was given a hot pass in a tight area. I think Onana looked the most likely at the start to try and dominate the game. If we can get him going at his best, a midfield of Onana, Garner & Gomes could really dominate. I hope we start with those 3 against Burnley. If we are chasing a result, throw Doucoure on for the chaos balls in to the box because he has a real knack for a chance falling to him.

To be fair to him, he ran himself in to the ground tonight.
All I’ll say, is we looked a lot more like an actual football team when Gomes & Garner came in to midfield.
Gana had some loose moments on the ball as per usual but he buzzed around. Onana had some decent moments on the ball but strolled around.
We deserved the point from that, much better performance from the squad & credit Dyche for the triple change.

I’ll credit Dyche for the changes, we have looked the best I have seen us for a long time. Also the players, they still seem to be playing for him.

Poor from DCL that. Should have been a big chance there.

Gomes was wide open, he just needed to stand Burn up and find him.

Beto went down easy there but that is 100% a foul after he was grabbed.

How’s that not a yellow for Isak on Pickford

Onana is at least trying to play forward. Everyone just shits bricks when they have the ball

Price you pay for the “best CEO” in football though right?
I haven’t looked, where did she go now? I’m assuming she’s at Bayern Leverkusen given their stellar success this year…

It’s poor defending from all 4 for a relatively easy ball in. Pickford definitely could have taken that, he had a pretty average game today to be fair. However it’s really poor from Coleman defensively.

Even if he is there’s a good possibility Coleman gets dropped and he plays RB.

This line up is how I’m feeling. I am utterly bemused how Patto is not getting late minutes as a defensive wide midfielder, it’s perfect for him.
My feelings about Keane are crystal clear but I would much sooner see him on the pitch than Young/Godfrey as he can at least offer something to our deep block defence.
We have seen next to fuck all from Danjuma but hopefully he is fit, a real shame he picked up an injury as our only 2 others wingers turned to shit.
Beto must start, I’m a huge DCL fan but the lad is just not looking likely at the moment.
The only change I would make is Gomes for McNeil as Beto’s game is running off the defenders shoulder & Gomes can pick that pass. Onana & Gana provide the work rate to compliment Gomes in that position imo.

His first one was a cracker like.
We sold him because he wanted to leave and we saw how the money would be pure profit on our books. Plus he was 22/23 so it's not like he was a kid that we (as in the club) didn't know much about. If they come up and he does the business in the PL then I'll hold my hands up but it wasn't that long ago that he went on a long stretch of not scoring and couldn't get in their team.
Gray was another opportunity to make huge profit on a cheap signing, and obviously there was more to him leaving than just that as well.
Iwobi wouldn't sign a new contract so we needed to get shut of him. Again for the books.
We shouldn't need to be doing this sort of thing, selling people because of profit etc, but that's what the PL has created and we needed to go down this route.
At the end of the day though (sorry Mike ), it's not the selling of these players that is the problem. It's how they've been replaced.
