Rangick has a contract for a job at Man Utd, why would he leave that to go to Everton?! 😂

Only 6 months as Manager, with (as you've said) 2 more in a "Consultancy" role.  I'm hopeful (dreaming) that he'd like more of a challenge and more control, although the chances of control seem pretty slim under Moshiri...

To me, Man Utd is a bit of a weird fit for him.  He seems to be very big around a certain game style (e.g. Gegenpressing), instituting that style through all age groups in the Organisation and hiring managers who fit in/work for that style.  Has also been really big on Academies and using young players, and worked in buy low-sell high organisations.

In short, think he'd be great for us but agree the chances are near non-existent.  So the guy with such an impressive impact on the rises of both Monaco and Lille would be an acceptable replacement 😜

    Instead, enter Kevin Thelwell....

Yeah it's a nice headache to finally have. Does Alli take Gordon's spot against Newcastle if Doms fit though?

Think @Matt is right, both are very short on match time.

However... assuming DCL is still out (?) and Alli was definitely starting, I'd be dropping Gray out and shifting Gordon there.

Don't think Richy and Gray are playing great, team, football together.  Both selfish and doesn't seem to be much love there, yet at least.

Also think Gordon's form is better than Gray's right now.

As neither of them play the same position as Gordon I really wouldn’t be worried.

Gordon's been playing as winger but all 3 are also AMs, and Alli has played as part of a fwd line.

Hope you're right but only so many spots on the ground.

You're entitled to laugh as much as you wish, but you did not get the point. I don't want them. I said I would rather have them over Lampard because of the reasons I mentioned. Pereira isn't my favorite either. I'm quite upset that the choice is limited between the two. I don't get why people favor Lampard оver Pereira though. The sole reason they point out he knows the league is аpplicable to a number of retired football stars who are at the beginning of their managerial career. Is he capable to save us from relegation? Why is he better choice than Pereira, Rooney and Duncan? Why aren't we calling Ole?

Agree in general, we're paddling in a very shallow pool here.

I'd prefer Lampard over Pereira, but pretty bloody embarassing that we (seemingly) haven't spoken to any of the more credentialed managers available.  Maybe they've just flat out refused to entertain us a possibility at all...

most managers sound good in tactical reviews but this is quite an interesting review of his Kovac's tactics

Obviously need to get it working with the players but like that he was also working with a very young squad, hopefully another that would be keen to make use of our young talents

We'd be doing very well to get Kovac.  It's him or Favre for mine.  Both of them are polyglots as well.

Only concern with Kovac is whether he can save a sinking ship (halfway through a season), whereas Favre has done it previously.  Think Kovac is probably the better long term option though.

He’s also behind the El Ghazi move.

I understand it can be beneficial to be close to some of these super agents but there’s just something not right about this.

Neither El Ghazi nor Iwobi (unless he was previously) are a part of his stable, what's the benefit to this Kia in pushing someone else's players?
