Its a non-starter (pun intended) to even contemplate this. Howard will always start, regardless of how inept he has become. Robles should tell EFC and Martinez to suck his balls and get transferred to a team that he can actually play for. Waiting for Howard to get an injury in order to get some pitch time? Fucking pathetic. His career is going nowhere right now, so why would he want to jeopardize this any further?

Martinez will lose our best players if we stay mid table, and with Howard in goal that's where we will stay. He is shooting himself in the foot, and that may bite him in the ass at some point if the powers that be actually begin to open their eyes to this situation.

Obviously three clean sheets in a row isn't good enough for Martinez. The guy is becoming a fucking loon in my view. The sooner we dump his ass, the better. Easily a top 4 team with the right management.

Why is it required to give him to the end of the season? The writing is on the wall NOW. Results are not good enough, and unless changes are made, EFC will continue down this path of mediocrity. Its not good enough, plain and simple. Unless its already too late, we will lose Stones, Rom, Ross, Gerri, etc. Why would these lads want to play for a non-champions League team that consistently hovers about the 10th place region on the table? Loyalty and love for the club only goes so far, and with the prospect of greener grass being dangled like a carrot in front of their noses, how can you blame them? THEN where will we be on the table when we lose the talented young stars of this team? I believe the end of the season is way too much time for Martinez. Get results over the Xmas period, or make drastic changes starting with a new manager.

Been done with this guy for a while now. WAY overrated, super arrogant, ungrateful to his fan base, and he only needs to look in the mirror if he wants to know who to blame for a shitty season in 14-15, as well as costing us points this season. The sooner MLS calls, the better.

Had the Everton supporters not charged the pitch, the whistle would have been blown and 3-2 Everton.

Deulofeu is terrible! You don't want him Barca - he will ruin your team! Just let us Evertonians suffer with him - its OK - we deserve it.

Their shitty defence was shittier than our shitty defence, therefore the slightly less shitty defence shit all over the shittier defence. Or maybe I'm full of shit?

That's OK - we all have our quirks. I hate the happy fucking birthday song - never want to hear, sing, or be sung that hunk of shit ever again. Larry David agrees with me!

I just don't see Jags or Coleman saying that their dream is to play for Man U or Real Madrid, and Everton FC is just a starter "stepping stone" club, even if that is how they feel. I find it disrespectful towards both the club, the fans, AND Martinez - - how should RM interpret those remarks? Maybe I am reading between the lines here too much but you have to wonder if his heart is 100% into this club or is he just trying to impress JM and AW to get a new contract out of Merseyside?

And yes, I do understand he was asked the question, and there is a way to answer it to retain one's integrity and honor towards EFC.

My 2 cents or pence. Rant over.

Gotta be honest - I had a TON of good laughs and grins reading this Everton Match Day at this Chelsea Forum last night. I would almost feel sorry for a few of these blokes, but then I came to my senses

Though it does take me back to last year, and we all went through the same emotions game after game when our form stunk early/mid season, and we were shitting game after game. I'll tell you one thing - they are FED UP with Ivanovic and have good reason to be - he is so terrible these days, yet JM insists on playing him. It'll be interesting to see if he starts against Tel Aviv and Arsenal on Saturday?

If I had an Arsenal kit, I would be wearing it for that match - I can't even imagine a post-match interview with that prick after conceding a loss.

I'm almost as excited for the Arsenal match as for the Everton one - these scenarios don't happen very often - the whole thing is intriguing for me.

I see a different Everton playing right now compared to the shite over the fall/winter.

I think RM has changed, even if there isn't any public acknowledgement. Yesterday the NBCSN crew/pundits did a "Pundits at the Pub" and eluded that Jags had a big influence on Martinez on changing the tactics/strategy. How truthful this is I have no idea but it makes sense to me given their recent form.

Although yesterday wasn't perfect, they were far and above the most successful team in BPL history, and their manager even admitted it.

Let's enjoy this moment, hope for 4 more wins to move us up even further. Never saw this coming.

We all know that RM and his silly stubborn ways and tactics sucks moosecock at this point., Its a fuckin joke. But then we also look at the players, and realistically place some of the blame on their shoulders. But when I look at the dreadful shite defence we had against Kiev, I'm not fully convinced it is the players fault(s). Its beginning to look to me like he is not adept to training the players correctly, and the result is, well, 5-2.

I am a classical musician, so I look at it this way: I have seen the same world-class orchestras perform the same pieces with (virtually) the same players. The difference the conductor makes is beyond what I could try and explain here - it would take pages. The change at the top makes all of the difference in the world in a symphony orchestra, so why is football any different? If the same orchestra kept on making shitty recordings, well folks would stop buying the albums/CD's and stop going to see the live performances. Enter new conductor, and all of this has the potential to change. A superb conductor can make even an average level orchestra sound great, whereas a poor conductor will make an high level orchestra sound mediocre to shitty.

Want proof: Sir Simon Rattle has arguably one of the best orchestras at his disposal (Berliner Philharmoniker), and they have produced many shite recordings. Not the players fault. The Minnesota Orchestra under the direction of Eiji Oue made a (once) mediocre orchestra sound world-class, one of the best during their heyday. It can be done with the right captain steering the ship.

    We need a new conductor.

This guy just refuses to address the true problem at hand in every interview and article. What significance does playing an important game with Swansea have to do with a machine that is not functioning properly?

As for not being relegated, I wouldn't bet my house on it. Did you see Aston Villa play today? They were hungry and had pride in their accomplishment today against WBA. Don't count them out and don't count any of them out. The relegation fight is going to be as nasty or nastier than the teams at the top. We aren't hungry enough to show that we are ready to spill our blood and guts to avoid relegation. We are generally bland, slow, have little attacking intent, and a goalkeeper whose skills are becoming questionable. That's not even mentioning our style which is arguably not working. We have been saying this the whole season - Everton just needs a few results and the light switch will go on - well here we are still waiting.

I am waiting to be proved wrong and also ready to eat crow - go ahead and show me Everton FC. Where are these promises you speak of Mr Martinez?
