  1. Been streaming this, you know what wouldn't bother me if the if my internet went down, it would be less painful.
  2. That's exactly what he did come on last week Koeman is making the same poor decisions week in week out, and unbelievably there were people defending him for bringing Barry on last week.
  3. But when you think about why you said that is it because you have witnessed them playing a lot better than they have been of late, so you know they can do a job, that's how I feel and I include Barkley in that as well. Now are we all to believe that in six months they have all become shit at the same time due to there own deficiencies, or could it be the fault of clueless management.
  4. I blame it on the boogie might as well everything else has been blamed.
  5. Merry Christmas to you all and your families. Even you MikeO and don't upset the grandchildren Father Christmas is real.
  6. Barkley play's well when the team keep good retention of the ball, he can then interact with players around him and show off his abilities. At present we must have the lowest possession of the ball in the league, and when he does receive it he's usually to deep or has no one around him to work off. If Eddie Howe had him he would be back in the England setup. Fucking hate the shit sisters.
  7. What do you think Koeman has been doing to Barkley since he got here, and it's not go out there and play how you want and where you want, that I believe is a big factor as to why Barkley is a shadow of his normal self, he's been shackled and is playing with fear of being Koeman's scapegoat, Long gone is the player who was allowed to go on the pitch and express himself with the freedom that made him the player with seen he can be.
  8. I agree he has all the attributes to a better than average central defender with good coaching.
  9. Happy to hear it Mark, hopefully we can get him here.
  10. Why didn't we make a concerted effort to sign him in the summer if him and koeman have a good relationship, I don't even think we made an approach for him, instead we sign Williams, something doesn't seem right to me.
  11. How did Schneiderlin's relationship finish with Koeman, i may be wrong and please correct me if I am but I thought they had a falling out, similar to Moyes and Lescott but a bit more intense, so possible Koeman could be a negative for him coming here.
  12. Your right lads, but he's such a twat, can't he be blocked and if so why hasn't he.
  13. Haf I for one don't find it strange that Koeman isn't shouting from the rooftops about this, cause quite simply he doesn't give a fuck about who stays, goes or comes in.
  14. Eric it's obvious that deep down you want to be blue, you've probably been bullied all your life by the reds in your family, now it's time to be brave and let the people around you know how you really feel and your passion for Everton, we will look after you Eric don't be scared, or should it be Erica.
  15. The position of you can only hold a referendum every 5 years, isn't possible with the rules of membership with in the E.U. You can leave on your own accord, but you can't return on your own accord, you could hold a vote in ten years time asking the country would they like to 're-join the E.U, you could a yes majority of 80%, but you have to gain yourself an invitation to apply or reapply, so in this instance out his out with not much hope of a return if things go wrong. It does make you wonder though if there was a small percentage of people who actually thought I'm voting out and if it doesn't work we can vote to go back in. And to allow a referendum every five years on any issue is far too soon you need to have time for voting demographic to change I would say a minimum of twenty five years, so that it makes people really think about choices by the fact they can't back track in a few years time.
  16. Fuck me Haf you better tell your wife to hide the rope, wouldn't want you hanging yourself, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse hahaha. Hope things are going well mate.
  17. Mate he's strong enough and he would have been playing defensively in that position just in front of the back 4, defending is his game, I wasn't implying that he played a traditional midfield role, he would held his own and if not switch it. But the inclusion of Barry was useless may as well not been on the pitch.
  18. Yes next to Gana for the reasons I stated. 1) Barry was never going to cope with the pace in that game. 2) Holgate has bags of pace can shut down and tackle, and if after a few minutes it wasn't working you could have switched him with Mori or Colman. Sometimes you shouldn't just go with the obvious choice when the obvious choice isn't going to work, so you need to look at what you've got on the bench and try and adapt it to what you need on the pitch, and I think he put no thought into how to replace McCarthy, cause we all could have told him Barry would struggle and boy did he struggle.
  19. Barry couldn't have been any deeper than he was, he made us look like we were playing five at the back most of the second half, Koeman made a massive error sticking Barry on in a game being played at that pace, if we all know that he has no pace and slow to close down, surly to fuck as a manager on 6M a year you would expect him to, there was no thought that went into that replacement, looking at what we had on the bench I would have put Hogate on, he's got bags of pace can close down and time a tackle, if after 5 minutes it wasn't working you could have switched him with Mori or Colman, none of them could have done any worse than Barry, then he takes Valencia off and sticks on a young lad to play in his position, great decision stick a young lad on in one of the biggest games of the season and play him in a position he doesn't play in talk about lamb's to the slaughter, he should have kept Valencia on who still had something to offer the game and put Mirallas on in place of Lennon who was struggling to take part in the game the longer it went on. Not impressed with his tactics when it came to making changes.
  20. Haf how did he perform in other areas compared to his usual stats particularly his movement and ground covered.
  21. We all know the loss of McCarthy was a massive game changer, but to try and fill that loss with Barry just compounded the situation, we know Barry doesn't have the legs for a high intensity game, it was a substitution that lacked any real thought, Holgate should have been used we needed his pace he would have been more effective with his speed and tackling, even if we put him in Mori's place and put Mori in McCarthy's position, as it was Barry was introduced and wasn't able to make any contribution. Then we saw Valencia taken off and replaced by Calvert I really can't work that out Valencia was and had more to offer than Lennon, so take Lennon off and stick Mirallas on but don't take off player that was still in the game and put a young lad on and play him out of position. Now I'm not saying we could have won the game if things where done differently but we could have hung on to the draw.
