  1. Here we go lads everything crossed even me nuts, just hope we don't play to defensively, doesn't suit us. Jesus shiting myself.
  2. my apologies I got my sums slightly wrong it was 13 points in 5 minutes and only 7 points in 9 minutes, unfortunately if we finish the next 24 minutes at the current rate of the last 9 then were gone. Pad I asked if you were one of the above which you obviously are, how many more minutes would you give him you obviously chose not to answer that, because you don't like to face the reality of our situation or you haven't got a clue.
  3. Let's say a season is 38 minutes, he's had 14 so far his first 7 minutes netted 13 points nearly 2 points a minute, his next 7 minutes netted 7 points a minute he has 24 minutes of this season left so if he can keep to the current rate of 1 point a minute we stay up, but if that drops off to let's say 0.75 points a minute we finish on 38 points and possibly relegation. Some people come out with comments like he's only been here 5 minutes, rubbish in the context of this season he has been here 14 minutes, some people say he needs another 2-3 transfer windows, rubbish we've already had the pleasure of one of his transfer windows, he's made 1 decent signing out of 4 and we know how lucky we've been with the ones that got away, then you have the it's not his fault the players have no passion he should be leading by example when it comes passion, but he can't because he is a soulless individual devoid of any emotion, he can't gee the players up because he's unable to gee himself up. So all of those 5 minuters, all those 2-3 transformers and all of those the players have no passioners how many more minutes of this season do we give him before it's too late, if you are one of the above please answer as I'm curious to know.
  4. Can we change the name of this forum now from Brexit to Regrexit, cause as the weeks go by its looking more that way.
  5. I agree Paul but if Haf is right with his stats, he doesn't seem to have it in him to change his game or he is not prepared to change his game. It makes you wonder if that's why Mourinho didn't rate him when he went back to Chelsea, cause if you play in a Mourinho team you got to work your arsed off no exceptions as Mata found out.
  6. You know what I'm not really surprised at them stats on the distance he covers per game, I think it is more to do with how he was coached to play the game as a youngster, in that some European countries don't teach or expect their strikers to do any of the donkey work, like chasing long balls down the flanks or tracking back to win the ball back or defend, Hasselbank and Gullit were great examples of that, they use to come a live in and around the box, I remember when Hasselbank was accused of being lazy he replied, that he needed to keep his strength for scoring goals not defending goals or something along those lines. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your point of view Lukaku seems to be in that mould, which is fine if he had their strike rate but he doesn't, so if his mentality can't be changed to work harder it would be better he moves on.
  7. Beans on toast a British staple easy to make, just be careful you don't burn your toast. Tonka if you need help with the recipe just give me a shout. Enjoy.
  8. You could see he was a bit nervous, he probably felt this was a bit like make or break, but on the whole he did well and if he can get a run in the team, the nervousness will dissipate and he will continue to improve.
  9. Gana for me closely followed by Mirallas, thought the latter showed he was well worthy of his starting place. Hopefully Koemans got Cleverley out of his head now and we don't have to endure him anymore.
  10. If we can turn the last 20 minutes of this game into 40 minutes of the next game and so on and so , we should be able to win a couple soon. But if we can only put something together in desperation to salvage something from a game we are losing, then we are going to struggle rest of this season.
  11. The long balls don't do us any favours nor Lukaku, our last 20-25 minutes of ball to feet proved that, I felt that was one of Lukakus better games of late, his work rate was better than normal he kept showing for the ball, and although he didn't have an attempt at goal he gave their defence problems which helped the players around him.
  12. StevO you ask why should Lukaku bother to close down defenders, when the midfield don't. 1) That's what your manager has asked you to do. 2) Lead by example. 3) Professional pride. 4) For the people who pay towards your wages. 5) The badge he wears tells him if you play for this club only your best will do. To be honest you could go on for ever, and there's more than just Lukaku who aren't leaving everything they've got on the pitch.
  13. Hafs right, you need to make your move before the ball is played, it's called good movement, has Haf said let's the person playing the ball put it space you are running into, movement without receiving the ball is just as important it can drag defenders out of position and leave a space for someone else to receive the ball in. Good strikers are always moving, whether that's to receive the ball, create space for someone else or trying to win it back. If Hafs stat is right then we need more from Rom whether in possession of the ball or not.
  14. Fair play to Moyes he's got a team spirit going, and the players working there socks off. Proves that hard work and belief in your managers tactics gets results.
  15. We have always been proud of our youth policy, and it's been respected and copied, we have brought through some outstanding talent in recent years, it's part of who we are, our believe system. Koeman could quite easily destroy in a short time what many people have taken years to build. He just wants to buy, he has never where ever he's managed looked at promoting home grown talent if he can buy it. All these young lads that have been talked about, must be thinking after the words of Koeman, that we have no future here, and that this isn't the policy of the club they remember committing to. He needs to go he isn't the right man for this job, just based on his results, the way we playing, some of signings should be enough to get him sacked, but to over look our young lads and dismiss them as a non starter, when we are in this mess is an insult to everyone who has loved this club and its values, he will never get that because he doesn't have any connection with club the city and the people who love it. Eddie Howe for me, he would get us and the values of this club, and turn us into the the team we should be, with one or two of the U23s involved.
  16. That's just a fantasy Holy hasn't been written. Sorry mate couldn't resist.
  17. Koeman uses the age of our squad as some sort of get out clause as to why we are shit, he mentions two players in particular who are over 30. Is this twat for real, he has added to the problem of players over 30 with his signings. The biggest reason we are playing shite is because your a clown Ronald ( McDonald ) Koeman, fucking clueless.
  18. Good morning Pad, you've been busy ten forums covered in a row, as Roy Castle would say your a record breaker haha. Just thought it was worthy of a mention.
  19. STEKKERS COLEMAN HOLGATE. WILLIAMS OVIEDO GANA DEULEFEU. BARKLEY. MIRALLAS BOLASI LUKAKU
  20. Hopefully we're playing better by then, cause if we're playing like we are now won't be seeing your brother for another 30 years.
  21. Fuck me lads don't all start slagging Koeman off Dunc will be furious. Joke Dunc.
