I hope that as we’re now 5 days after our last game, the thoughts of the board of replacing Frank will have disappeared. Both he and the squad are good enough to avoid relegation, changing manager yet again will only produce more turmoil.

Agree, I walked away from Goodison after the Watford game and felt gobsmacked, and it feels just the same now from listening to the club feed, Darren and Snods absolutely fuming with the lack of quality and how we collapsed to a team we thought we would beat twice in 4 days. We need to move the ball quicker out of defence, too many are trying to dribble past 2-3 opponents, why we don’t do smart incisive passing like we did for our second last week. Once we do get shots in, stop aiming for their keeper, we could have 2-3 goals so far.

I had high hopes for him, he was good at Burnley in his first couple of season, not so last year. I think it’s taking him longer to settle to a new team, I think it’s his first move, but he’s looking better each game, both his goals have been really good, he certainly has a good shot on him and can cross, having DCL as a target can only be good for him, and they should both be on the pitch at the same time. If our three wingers play to their strengths we can be dangerous to any team.

We are, Frank has re built from the back, Tarks, Coady, bringing in Patterson, and a new midfield has made a huge difference. I remember all too well walking away from Goodison this time last year and fearing the worst.
