  1. Iwobi once again, he orchestrated the whole game for us, other stand outs performances from Patterson, Gana and Maupay, with no one having a shocker, all good looking forward.
  2. Your right it was a shit one, I just missed out on Grammar school place, and ended up in a breeding ground for Shell or Vauxhall’s
  3. Pickford has scored a penalty for England also
  4. I’d imagine he’s scored enough already I met him a few times when I worked for CBS the label they were on initially, have to say that he was an absolute dick head, no talent, just happened to be George’s best mate from school. ( where did I go wrong ….)
  5. I’ve just heard on local radio, Sunday’s game is on with a slightly later kick off, below copied from club website. Everton Football Club is deeply saddened at the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-serving monarch in British history and, in her honour, flags at both Goodison Park and Walton Hall Park are being flown at half-mast. After the postponement of football matches across the UK at the weekend, the Premier League and Football Association confirmed on Monday that fixtures - including Everton men's clash at home to West Ham United and the Women's away trip against the Hammers on Sunday - will resume this weekend. The match for Frank Lampard's Blues at Goodison will now kick off at 2.15pm (GMT) rather than the previous time of 2pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports. A Premier League statement read: "Premier League fixtures will resume this weekend after a pause to the season as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
  6. So rain and reign stops play… I can understand this weekend but until after funeral seems a bit too much IMO.
  7. Me too, I thought it was shocking that he was so unfit when he arrived, match fit I can accept, unfit no, he was gassed after 30 mins of lumbering around.
  8. Crooks has an incredible quality of being able to contradict himself, other than what people say about him on here I don’t look at anything he writes.
  9. Still love the bloke, we really miss his energy, he’s not the most refined player, but he’s a pain to play against.
  10. I was impressed with him, he’s not featured much for Brighton, so I was expecting him to run out of steam, yes he did slow but kept going for the full 90. He’s far more mobile than Rondon ( state the bleeding obvious) and therefore gives defenders more to think about, he’s going to give us more options up front which was desperately needed.
  11. A really good game from him again, improving all the time, what I’m really impressed is that he always seems to want to move the ball forward, such a refreshing change from sideways and backwards the team played last year.
  12. A really good performance from him yesterday, he’s improving game by game, being mentored by Coady and Tarks on the pitch is clearly helping him settle. It was nice to MOTD did a little piece about him in the post match analysis.
  13. It looks and feels like Franks plan is starting to come together, far more solid at the back and mobility in midfield, we threaten up front also, still plenty of work to do of course. Im back to being able to look forward to games rather than dreading them, we need to accept any hiccups along the way, I’m sure we will be ok this season.
  14. Steve, I’ve dropped of the list again, can you put me back on please.
  15. Proper team performance from every player, Pickford gets my vote as he kept us in the game when they put the pressure on.
  16. Really impressive performance from all today, it looks like what Frank is trying to do is starting to happen, solid performances from the established players and the younger ones settling nicely. Result could have gone either way, but overall I walked away feeling we have dropped 2 points, of the goal had stood, we would have won. As others have said I’m looking forward to games again On a side not I hope the guy who was taken ill on the 919 back to town is OK
  17. I don’t think they should allow the BT commentator walk on the pitch in her high heels grrr
  18. I’ll give you a wave from top balcony in the main
  19. I wish him well, comes across as a decent bloke, but he needed to go, after his 45 mins against Palace there was no chance he should ever turn out for us again.
  20. 11-14th, we’ve improved the squad significantly, once they have had a bit of time to gel, we will be solid and hopefully have 2 strikers scoring, hopefully it starts at 12.30 today
  21. I’ve just looked also, they are really full of hate, which I find amazing given our lack of success. What I do like is they are not looking forward to the game, hopefully their players will be sthe same.
