He most definitely isnt, he’s a winger, maybe he’s not happy at being put in as CF for the last two games ( big error from Frank there IMO) and think he’s being pissed about. If so maybe he’s not the team player we all thought he was. As a winger, currently his end product is way off, crossing and goals, he’s been getting away with that due to his enthusiasm which hasn’t been there this season until he’s gone out on the wing. If the deal offered gets to over £45m I don’t think we can afford to not take it atm, as long as we have a replacement lined up plus others to strengthen.

If it opens up a space for a hard working creative player, it’s a yes, Dele has hardly set the pitch alight bar that 45mins, other than that he’s been very poor imo.

I’m torn on this one, he’s a bright hope for the future, but he’s been awful so far this season, not helped by playing out of position ( and that’s clearly way out of his depth). So far he hasn’t shown that he can deliver killer balls in to the box, head the ball, or is that good at shooting, so I would take £50m in a shot, we need to deal with the immediate, and a cash injection to help build a stronger squad would be good. Sign Borja and Gallagher on loan would be decent business

Game lost in midfield, 2 there is just not enough, we looked much better when we were forced into 4 at the back. If we do t get a new striker before next week, Rondon needs to start, he’s not great but at least he fights for possession. Onana didn’t let his error affect him, he was the spark that dragged us back into contention, can only get better with more playing time. next week has become a game where we definitely need 3 points to take the pressure of Frank and the squad

I was knackered last night after an early start to catch ferry from Dublin, home and then to the match, saw MOTD but don’t remember putting any blame on officials for not flagging ball out of play, had they flagged the ball out it wouldn’t have happened, I hope the officials didn’t sleep well last night.

Went with Tarkowski, we looked so much better at the back compared to last season, he bring a bit of calm, as well as bite and organises well, which brought out good performance from Patterson, Myko, Holgate and the midfield, Iwobi will become a Goodison favourite if he continues like yesterday.

Absolutely, all the more difficult now though when he shows he can injure himself jogging, he’s just a feckin liability on all levels.

I feel like we’ve been robbed of a point. Chelsea clearly the better team, with the refs assists, one of the worst showings from a ref in recent years at Goodison. Im be used at the way we were set up, Gordon in CF up against two highly experienced CB’s was literally men against a boy, yet we continued to pump the ball up to him to try and win headers, McNeils taller a switch early in first half was needed. Both teams toothless in attack and a needless mistake cost us the points, however our shape was better, Tarks and Patterson solid PL debuts, McNeil not so much. Add a proper CF to that team and we’re not too shabby.
