At 0-0 I thought we had a chance of nicking a point possibly 3, as soon as they scored that disappeared as they could stroke the ball around across the back, and they started to pull us out of position, creating more space for them to play and creat chances. I’m happy we kept the score down to 2 and not hurting us more with the goal difference. I will keep having faith we can get the points we need until it’s not possible.

Got to be happy with that so far, need to keep doing to same and be more clinical when we do get a chance on the break or from a set piece. I don’t see 22 players still being on the pitch at the end though, could be one or two from either side.

That’s probably due to not getting the ball passed to him much, in his first few games he made some good runs but no one passed to him, it’s starting to change which will only improve as they get to know each other better on the field.

If he can play like he did yesterday and play a role in keeping us up that’s great, and he can then leave with his head held high, but no new contracts he is too injury prone.

Well if he does this above, he is the below, Digne was so easy to get past.

He looked totally unfit, he was blowing bubbles early in the second half, timing completely out when jumping for headers, and not pressing like he used to. but he did cause their defenders a few issues. To me it’s either he’s not fit, or he is on his way and isn’t interested, if that’s the case don’t play him. The roar he got when he did make a challenge was huge, so it’s not as if he doesn’t know we want him to do well, but he needs to do more.

Iwobi gets my vote, a few weeks ago I never wanted to see him in an Everton shirt ever again. He’s a changed player under Frank, still needs to learn how to put a tackle in though. Pickford, Delph, Godfrey, Mykolenko and Richy all had good games.
