Played well in the 45 mins he got IMO, unlucky to be pulled, but it was due to tactics not his play, I can see him getting more minutes once we’re safe, Coleman and JJK doing a decent job on either side atm.

Pickford, kept us in it with some outstanding saves, Allan, Richy and the whole team were immense also, robbed by a fluckydouble deflection for the goal and a stone wall penalty not given. If we can carry one with that sort of importance we will get the points we need.

I think many are being harsh on Keane over the goal, there was a double deflection Coleman and Holgate I think, on the ball put in before it came to Keane, no ones blaming either of them for an error. Other than being the last man it hit before they scored, he had a good game IMO.

Both Norwich and Leeds lost, a good start to the weekends fixtures for us so far. Not that we should be relying on other teams to drop points of course.

Leeds have just scored twice in 24 seconds to draw level, why couldn’t we do that

To answer your question. The things none of our other players can do, wins aerial challenges, brings other players into the game, provides an outlet when needed, would have scored the first against Leeds if nothing for the challenge from the defender, thankfully Seamus got his head to to and scored, so that’s an assist. If we don’t get decent balls into the box he’s always going to struggle to score.

I made the same comment last Saturday, we came out earlier and warmed up with intensity, that never happened under FSW, Frank is changing the way they think and act, all good to me.

Gray would be my first choice based on this season, after Saturday Iwobi does deserve to keep his place, which it looks like he will as Gray is out, I’d normally be unhappy at seeing Iwobi starting or even on the team sheet ( as a walked to my seat last Saturday the team was being announced, 3 stewards were talking to each other, and I heard them say what the fuck, why is he starting Iwobi and most would agree) but if he can continue it gives us a much stronger squad and we can allow players to fully recover from injury, I’m sure we have been brining payers back too soon.

Same increase for me, but my lad turns 18 at the end of the season so his more than doubles, but it’s still only £30.53 and £17.37 per game respectively, which I think is good value ( well it is if we’re playing OK, I was in 2 minds to renew at the end of the season when Gravy Chops was around, and much of this season has been blurghh )

I’d give him more game time before the seasons end and make a decision then, if he does a good job we can use funds on more pressing positions.

I noticed at the game, he collected the ball each time after they hit the bar, seems to have the knack of being in the right place. Really impressive first game, we need to be putting a plan into place to make it permanent in the summer.

I’m in my 5th season as ST holder and I’ve never heard it like it was today, the first half was amazing, sod the 12th man we had 13!

Donny, gave us the missing level of control in midfield allowing us the run the game at our pac. But rack and every player was excellent JJK, Keane,Holgate,Iwobi all players usually slated by most of us all had great games. I’ll go as far to JJK is better at defending than Digne ( crossing from the left not though! )
