West Ham in league cup for one, cracking volley, stop killing the lad, let him get match fit, give him some service, then judge.

I’ve noticed this every game, part of the problem is that he stands with his back to the sideline, so when he gets the ball the easiest option is back or sideways infield, he needs to face forward more, it’S debatable wether he can find whoever’s up field of him of course.

His level of play has dropped off the last 2 games, does his drop in form affect the team, or the teams drop affect him, either way we can’t reply on one player to be the creator.

Eureka! I’ve found the problem, 7 people predicted a loss, it’s all their fault, you know who you are and need to stop doing it now!

Well it wasn’t an attacker

Lucky to stay on the field, as was Joel Linton, I think the ref balanced one out with the other.

We were so poor as an attacking force, no one had the balls to take a shot on, we could play all night and still be goalless. Coleman looked like he was a Newcastle player in the second half. DCL clearly needs game time to get match fit. The biggest concern is that heads will be starting to drop after 3 defeats on the run, all were tough games on paper, but we’ve failed to produce much since the Utd game, Frank has a tough couple of days to get them fired up and regain some confidence for Saturday, Goodison needs to be the 12th man once again.

The Myko and Gray partnership just doesn’t exist, neither puts a good ball to the other. Onana needs to release the ball earlier. DCL a probably won’t make it beyond 60 mins, we need to get one back before then and then let Maupay have a run and cause some problems. Garner to replace Onana at some point unless he improves when they come out again.

I’d be looking for Gordon and Gray to be more of the crosses, classic get to the bye lone and cut it back is what Dom thrives on.

Spot on, and from that game we didn’t show any indication of being a counter attacking team, except for Grays chance. We’re still very much a work in progress, but it’s a better place than 12 months ago.

Oooh I don’t know, there’s a couple of lumpy bits on Queens Drive, probably wouldn’t get out of town intact.

Life is so full of surprises! I can’t see him replacing Coady or Tarks so it’s all academic really, please can someone buy him in the Jan window.

My frustration with him is that he has really good skills, fast, quick feet, can deliver a good cross, has a good shot, but he runs into opponents too often, doesn’t get his head up and pass as often as he should, and having beaten a man, stops to try and do it again. I’m hoping Frank and his team can work with him to improve him, having DCL to aim for may well change some of the way he plays. For 1.7m we would be mad to move him on as a replacement will cost significantly more, McNeil was 20m and doesn’t offer anything more.

Yes, and it was Rondon who he tackled ( no intent by Rondon imo ) The difference is Minas current injury was done while he was jogging to the sideline, no one else close by, unless it was that rogue piece of grass that got him

I’d have no problem with him going for free in Jan, the sooner we get his wages off the books the better.

It also looks like he is really happy here, that will have a big impact on his decision to stay.
