Whereas I have been critical of the fanbase in the past, you can't expect people to create an electric atmosphere for a group of players that don't look interested, don't put a shift in and don't create any spark whatsoever for 90 minutes. It's a bit like being asked to stand next to some dog shite on the pavement, and to sing and chant for the binmen to come and clean it up for an hour. The fans should be up for the game yes, but when you're averaging a single shot on goal a game and providing minimal huff and puff it's to be expected that the crowd are completely dejected.

It's all well and good having games in hand but if you don't win them, they're pointless. Sick of this narrative (not having a pop at you personally) about these games we've got in hand as we don't look like scoring in them, nevermind taking maximum points. The league could wipe all our games and start us from scratch with 38 to go and I'd still put money on us going.
