  1. I don't get why you're so upset, didn't you see that our new sleeve sponsor is the Ukraine Foundation? Totally agree with all of the above, while we are good at our community work, it's spun so much in the media to deflect from the fires at board level. Fully expect Lampard to be sacked too, which would be yet another insane decision from an incompetent board.
  2. Hope they have a lasagne buffet and get the shits.
  3. Paelladyce is a massive reason why we are going down.
  4. I've seen a lot of people have a pop at Lampard and I know it's generally a lazy reaction but if we somehow convinced the likes of Guardiola or Klopp to manage us we'd still be in this mess. The third goal is the perfect exhibit - you simply cannot train Jonjoe Kenny not to be a fucking idiot, and train Ben Godfrey not to trip over his standing leg when unchallenged. The simple fact is that out of the players at Lampard's disposal, a good 95% of them are absolutely stealing a living.
  5. The fact that Richarlison is seen as having a great game for basically running around and putting a graft in shows how absolutely abysmal this set of cunts are. Richie is one of maybe 2-3 players that I don't absolutely loathe. Will wish him well when he fucks off to a decent team when we go down.
  6. Looked future captain material when he signed for us but now looks like he's defending on a pogo stick. Utterly shite.
  7. I absolutely hate most of the players at Everton, not even a dislike if they were on fire in a toilet bowl I'd piss in the sink. This club has been corrupted from the inside by incompetent ownership and it stinks the fucking place out. We're absolutely gone (and have been for a while), anyone saying otherwise is deluding themselves in denial. Frank Lampard is the only good thing about this club at the moment, and he'll probably fuck off soon as he already looks beyond fed up.
  8. My Virgin box switched off three minutes ago. Missed the penalty and missed the decision, fucking livid. But happy at the same time, get in there.
  9. Anthony Gordon shouting "fucks sake" at barely anyone being bothered to celebrate speaks volumes.
  10. Been coming that. This is curtains.
  11. Think it's safe to say I'm absolutely shitting myself, haven't watched a game in a loooong while where I've been this nervous. Just fucking win lads.
  12. Slipped over earlier and fell into a parallel universe where @Romey 1878posts positive thoughts about Everton. UTFT!
  13. And that is the issue. You talk sense, and so do a lot of people but will Moshiri make a sensible decision next summer? Nope. If we stay up we'll probably spend all summer trying to sign marquee signings that will offer the square root of fuck all. The likes of Marcelo from Real Madrid or an Aaron Ramsey/Gareth Bale.
  14. The issue for me is that even if we somehow survive this season, we will go next. We're not going to suddenly sign 8-9 players that are going to make us into a decent team and the club will still be in the clutches of Kenwright and Moshiri. What has depressed me more than relegation, is just how fucked we are and how much our soul has been ripped away through incompetent owners.
  15. USA will be a tricky game, the Americans will see it as a derby and be fired up, plus they're not the "soccerball, let's go team" cringe that they used to be, they're actually a really decent outfit. Given that we will be going to the World Cup the the hope to win it, I'd expect us to beat the US but would honestly stress that it won't be a walk in the park - my bet at this early stage would perhaps be a 1-0/2-1. Iran are very, very good defensively but I don't think any top team would (or should fear them). Without sounding arrogant, they will have no realistic ambitions of getting into the deep stages of the tournament and should prove little to no threat to England - given how good they are at the back I'll stick my neck out and say 2-0. Wales and Scotland will be big games just because of the inferiority complex that those two countries have to England, but Ukraine (should they make it) would be the easiest nation to face. Given how we seemed to give Scotland so much respect in the Euros (and Wales in the same tournament a few years earlier) I'd expect a draw. In a nutshell I'm made up with our group and expect us to finish 1st. That said, I don't for one second think we'll be winning 8-0 and taking the piss out of anyone.
  16. Will be taking my daughter swimming so will miss this, Everton have depressed me this season so much that if I'm being totally honest it's started/starting to affect me mentally to be honest, so probably not a bad thing that I'll not be able to keep track of this live. Expect us to be absolutely hammered (pun intended). Probably about 4-0. The game against Burnley is what will make or break our survival, nothing more and nothing less.
  17. Can't wait to be 0-0 with City until the 80th minute when they then casually bring the likes of Mahrez, Jesus, Grealish and Bernardo Silva off the bench.
  18. I would agree with this, but when he's come on he hasn't even looked arsed to run. Not seen a player in a long time with such little desire to actually get stuck into the action. That said, the media circus that has surrounded Dele has been a bit of a concern for a while. He's just one of those footballers that people love to rip apart - his criticism for his Rolls Royce and dress sense being two prime examples.
  19. Ironic that they're up in arms about not being able to see a game in London due to transport issues, when their owners signed up to a Super League that would see them play in all four corners of the globe every other week. Couldn't happen to two nicer clubs.
  20. Really confused as to why Real Madrid have taken our place in the cup here.
  21. Considering the number of names Newcastle are linked with, if I'd bother to check my emails more than twice a year I'd probably have an interview request from Eddie Howe too.
  22. Begovic totally out suggests that he's either injured or ill, I just hope that Pickford is actually fit as opposed to being shoehorned in because we haven't got another established goalkeeper. As others have said (on here and on social media), Patterson not making the XI is a little disappointing considering what we've seen in the U21's from him. As much as I want us to win, the very real relegation fight has taken over anything for me so if losing today with the guarantee of finishing 17th would be a deal I'd snatch off whoever was handing it out.
