Hope this puts the Martinez rumours to bed, best team in the world and he won FA with them for the last 6 years.
He still does not practice defending set pieces, he is good at making world class players look very ordinary. 

I would have no issue with him making  changes but there is a huge difference between throwing in a few fringe players and changing the entire XI
Even worse when he also changed the formation and most of the defence that night had hardly kicked a ball all season.
Throwing XI players who haven’t played together all season in an unfamiliar formation was only ever going to end one way. It was a complete capitulation that only served to put extra pressure on us and give them a much needed confidence boost before the league game
Yes it was practically two different teams for the league game but their crowd was buoyed by the fact they had just twatted us a few days earlier , it also took the pressure off their players who had gone 4 defeats on the trot before playing us,  as soon as they went in front our heads dropped and there tails were up because everyone knew it was going to be the same outcome
That last week before the World Cup break has put an entirely different complexion on the season and it was so avoidable

I absolutely think he should go out wearing it. The pictures will go all round the world. It's a massive statement.
Not that he's looking for it, but Kane would achieve iconic status. It would also embarrass FIFA - no bad thing. Utterly corrupt organisation.

I agree but is that relevant after 2 games, we have had years with different managers and not fought like that.
 
Its much more deep rooted with us, i would not be surprised if Frank was told to play a 2nd string side, by the owners who are probably in talks with RM now, to take over at xmas. Its changes at the top we need.

I hope that as we’re now 5 days after our last game, the thoughts of the board of replacing Frank will have disappeared. Both he and the squad are good enough to avoid relegation, changing manager yet again will only produce more turmoil.

Easily done if you have Lukaku up front, and personally I think Martinez would be a disaster
Im starting to calm down a bit now, although still pissed off with Frank I agree we can’t just keep changing managers and I think that’s the only thing keeping him in the job
On paper his backroom staff are extremely impressive and to be honest I would love us to be able to play the kind of football Lampard wants us to play and I quite like him as a bloke, especially as he seemed to have bought into the ethos of the club and the city
I was fully onboard with him, especially after the Palace game but he lost me last week as soon as he threw the first Bournemouth game, which backfired massively 
He needlessly put us on the ropes with those two complete capitulations against fellow relegation candidates and I’m convinced he would have been gone by Christmas if we hadn’t had this break
Lets hope he uses the time wisely

Yes they are but IMHO Frank heaped unnecessary pressure on himself and the team in midweek by pissing off the travelling fans with that insulting team selection
That is totally on him, the players don’t pick the team
Then we get twatted again today when the same fans have made the same 500 mile journey twice in a week so they are well in their rights to be pissed off
I think it’s unfortunate that Iwobi and Pickford have taken the brunt of it as they have been our best players but Franks decision to capitulate in midweek has played a huge part in the fans frustration

Will never understand throwing away a cup game in the only competition we could win.
Maybe its an age thing, but it makes no sence to me, especialy whan they are now going to get 5 weeks rest.

Why would we only have £100k to play with?
Winning the cup and doing well in the league are not mutually exclusive, in fact history shows winning the league cup can be the launchpad for further success
I just think it’s a sad indictment for how the game has gone that some fans see success as what’s in a clubs bank statement rather than what’s in their trophy cabinet
