Feck. Was coming. Typical 'old' Everton.

Crap performance. Martinez should have had Osman off ages ago.

Of course we would. We'd be taking him on loan in full knowledge of him being injured so it'd be tough shit.

Thank god for that. I kept wondering why we would want to sign a giant gap.

    Glad that's over.
Toughest three points of the season for me.

Naismith wins a fair few headers for a little guy.

    My feed showed 47% possesion.
Two shots from us and four from them.
They also had a good amount of that possession in our third.

By the way, were at home!

Not saying either of us are right, I'm just expecting a little more from us. I actually think we're better than this.

Very good half considering. We havent created an awful lot but we were never going to against Soton who are very solid defensively. As usual we have worked our way into some decent positions, usually when we have forced them into a mistake but not made the most of it.

Alcaraz has come in and been excellent which doesnt surprise me tbh and Baines looks as if he is just starting to warm to the task.

Oviedo is putting in a shift but he is very one dimensional and doesnt offer the passing options of our main wingers.

Osman is playing nicely which is good to see and hopefully he can keep this up.

Robles has done what he has had to do but needs to brush up his kicking!

We have played one through ball behind the centre halves all season. This was against Newcastle when lukaku threaded in Barkley. This amazes me that we don't practice this more on the training pitch. Why is it that we have to play the ball wide constantly? We become too predictable sometimes.

Pienaar and Mirallas have both been poor. If ever there was a game for Deulofeu this is it I think.

Barkley is a 19 year old kid. We need to remember this.
Lukaku is also a 20 year old kid, and we need to remember this too.

They are the icing on the cake. Today we waited for our big players to show what they could do, such as Mirallas, Baines, Distin and Jags, Gibson, Osman and they were utter shite.

Thanks, means a lot. I've been stuck in work a lot over the past few days, doing over-time left, right and centre. I've managed to get some free-time though and a Manchester City TTTE is in the pipe-line. Hopefully I'll have something to give you all before the weekend comes - stay tuned.

don't agree on the tin pot trophy bollocks, winning games breeds confidence end of. As blues we know the league is beyond us so is the league position of 6th all we can hope for? We haven't earned that arrogance after 5 games. Spurs anyone? That shows where we are. I love Roberto but for fucks sake lets sort ourselves

Osman should be nowhere near the starting line up, he has looked shot for the majority of the past year.

In terms of a metaphor his England cap was like a Salmon making it to the top of the waterfall and laying it's eggs, after that has been achieved it ain't to pretty.

A centre midfield of McCarthy & Barry with Barkley behind Kone is what I would go with. Kev on the right, Pienaar on the left. Gerry should deffo get some game time if one of those two ain't at the races.

Things change. He says so himself. New manager, club going in a different direction. He seems resigned to the fact he hasn't got the ability, if ability is the right word, to fit in with the new system and he seems disappointed in himself because of this. He's hardly been a great servant to the club, without being a disruptive influence either.

I'm sure everyone at West Brom will do their best to help make him feel at home as that seems to be what he wants. He seems resentful he has had to move but I had to learn how to use the laminator in our office yesterday to help with an urgent job to enable some new people to get what they need to do their job and for someone of my intelligence and length of service that's not on. Don't they know who I am?

I would also think Vic's birth certificate is much the same format as mine so he could do with having a look at his - I've just had a look at mine and I can't find anywhere on there where it says life will be fair so dust yourself down you whingeing fucking lump and get on with it.

I wish you all the best and think it's a waste you are unable and unwilling to take the opportunities you have been and continue to be given, injuries aside.

Been replaced by the green and red arrows (unless you mean those have disappeared). Green for like, red for a Dalzi dislike.

Am I the only one who is going to miss Anichebe at Everton. He wasn't even given a chance under Martinez, towards the end of last season he stepped up when Jelavic couldn't... Good luck to the future, will be keeping an eye out on WBA results. Might even make his way back into my fantasy league team :-)
