I struggle to have much affinity with any of our current players and Iwobi is no exception. I struggle to see why some see him as the second coming of Christ. Hes at best an average player in a terrible team. He did better under Lamps but for 2 years prior to that he was terrible. I’ll wish him well but I’m happy he’s off for the fee reported. I’m a little worried not heard much about this deal for a few hours now. 

Just heard that on Sky Sports -  although I’m struggling to watch it as I don’t tend to watch anything that Clinton Morrison is on 😩

We are relegated without him

It’s not hate. It’s seeing him being average but some seem to think that average makes him great. McNeil out performed him last season. He got into our team under Lampard because we had few other options and he improved, no doubt, but he’s not exactly been winning games for us. He’s not been very good out wide, we don’t play a style that suits him being in the middle. Not to mention that he gives the ball away too often in the middle. 
He’s been ok, nothing more than ok, for two years (but ok stood out because all of our creatives players have left) but before that he was absolutely shite. I don’t think anyone would disagree with that. 

£20+mil is an unbelievable and amazing deal. I never thought we’d get anywhere near that amount with 10 months left. I won’t believe it till it happens. Wonder what happened to all those Champions League clubs that Iwobi assumed he could play for? 🤔

Imagine it! Won’t happen with Dyche through. Probably Dobbin and Cannon 🤣 

He was summed up perfectly for me in the first game of the season when he did a fantastic piece of skill on the wing then cut inside drove towards goal then made a massively over hit pass which went straight to their goalie. My son and I looked at each other and almost in unison said ‘typical Iwobi’

Apparently Dyche only ever plays 442 so it could be a goer!

Work resumed on site on Wednesday. 
 
The terracing on the north stand is almost complete. Work has begun on the lower terracing on the south stand. More roof sections have been added on the east and west stands. 
 
In no rush to update the stadium video threads, don’t think there is much available to update yet anyway. 

I’d like to see them both start.

I’d suspect it’s a freak accident, the H&S on site has been extensive since the build started. Laing have a great reputation in the industry for safety too. 
Tragic for the family and the young lad.

I might be in the minority in that I actually thought he looked sharper yesterday than anything I’ve seen of him in an Everton shirt. He should obviously of scored, he’s not clinical and neither the answer to our problems when DCL isn’t fit. However, I’ve never seen him take up such good positions as he did yesterday.
