Everton made the New York Times today.  A couple wonderful points:
1.) Everton makes its players sign an agreement to participate in community events; and
2.) At one point Tom Davies had to be reminded to leave an event but said, "I'm busy coloring unicorns."
I love this club more than anything other than my wife.

And (believe it or not, where does the time go) today is the five year anniversary of my last treatment, which means I'm all clear. I still have one final check to come in May but it's just a formality, five years is the magic number so I'll be around for a while yet. Sorry.

Yes, I am also seriously surprised Rubes.   There is a word for individuals who, having been elected to represent a party and a manifesto, instead force their own (and different) views onto the people who voted for them.  'Dictatorial' is the word that comes to mind.  If these people had any integrity they would resign as MP's and trigger a by-election and put their views to the test.  Some hope, we are talking politicians here.

None of them have died, retired or left post though (yet).

It depends whether you're voting for a person or a party. Too many (imo) vote purely on party lines and expect to have 300+ supposedly intelligent and public spirited people sitting there and doing exactly what they're told to do by the party elite because they all agree on everything so "let's all sit and have a jolly nice time acting like primary school kids".
I can certainly see the case for these guys putting themselves forward in by-elections but I still find it pleasing to see some people jumping off the "clone crony conveyor" collect wages and expenses bandwagon.

Yeah Mike 3 of them goals was in a 10 nil win over the USA. Plus he was up against some great strikers in the 60s,  Geoff Hurst, Roger Hunt, and Jimmy Greaves to name just a few.

Because it looks generic. Like Steve says, more photos would be nice but I was hoping for something with a bit of character to it that would bridge modern and the history of the area instead

It has been lost forever sadly, Louis has been on the case and confirmed as much. Quite how is still a bit of a mystery.
