  1. As he has a decent length contract at Leeds I don't think they are obligated to sell him cheap. However, it appears that they are obligated to loan him out to a Premiership club while they remain in the Championship. Really hope Leeds don't come back up next year, firstly becasue they are one of the clubs bitching to the Premierleage about us, but secondly becasue they are unlikley to be able to do fuck all much about it if Harrison what's another season on loan here. That might suit us better financially next season over committing to decent transfer fee. Harrison having the option to simply come here on loan anyhow, migth also help in Everton's negosiations. Hats of to those who got him to the club, as a shrewed bit of business getting him in a Everton shirt for the season. He looks like he is enjoying it, and is definately a Dyche type player.
  2. Going for Godfrey to even the voting up between him and Keane. We all where a bit apprehesive seeing the pair of them named in the starting line up, both slotted in and played with the consistency and confidence of week in week out performers - massive credit to them both. Godfrey saw the danger and was on it at speed to produce that goal saving tackle at the end of the first half - I think that made all the difference in this game, Burnley had nothing positive to take from that first half. If that goal had gone in, you feel a total different second half will have taken place.
  3. one of the good things about what might be the perception of 'Dyche ball' is that you can't see top 6 teams trying to tempt him from us, no matter how well our results look. I agree with Haf in the way the club should have a proper strategy for what traits they would look for in Dyches eventual successor.
  4. another confident 'get the job done' performance. all very professional. the lads that came in knew what was needed and slotted in well. The pressure has been taken away from the next couple of games.
  5. It's impressive how the goal scoring duties are being spread through out the team. would love to see DCL get a goal before he makes way for Beto.
  6. or both Godfrey and Keane step up to the plate and show they are important part of the squad. There is a big difference coming in to a confident team. on their day, both Keane and Godfrey have shown good things in a Everton shirt.
  7. I will not lose a minutes sleep if Burnley and forest go down or if Leeds and Leiceter fail to get promoted this season.
  8. If those four clubs had not make a song and dance about it, I don't think the Premier league would have bothered getting a independent commission to scrutinies us. so if we can take a maximum 12 point off forest and Burnley this season I would find that particularly satisfying.
  9. This game has the making of a bit of a banana skin, off the back of two good home wins, but a few suspensions and injuries coming at the same time and all being defensive type players. I would be playing on the fact Burnley are one of the shithouse clubs that complained to the PL about Evertons financial affairs that has led to us losing 10 points and now want to put the boot in and try and shake us down for compensation. These are one of the teams I really really want us to beat this season (along with Notts Forest). These fuckers could have casued this club no end of hardship.
  10. I think Dyche has to take a lot of credit in how he manages the players as human beings. I think he is pretty genuine and fair with them. From day one he has said he wants them to help make players the very best versions of themselves and cares about there well being. He is definately getting a lot lot more out of them than Lampard did, they all seem to be playing for him. I would love to see a match fit Dele get a good run of games playing for Dyche - Seeing him anywhere near his former self would be amazing.
  11. I was worried when he looked to be injured in the first half. Maybe the need game off might not be the worst thing to happen. Its a lot easier for a player to step in to a team who are playing well and full of confidence - hopefully that will rub off on those who have to step in to the team.
  12. I think Dyche is a better appointment than Ancelloti. I never really thought he was a great fit for the club and was really indicative of our owners poor judgement and lack of a coherent plan. He had a few months of decent results, but we didn't play particular good football under him and spending wise, possibly the season we ultimately overstretch ourselves. I am feeling we are finally building a team built on a good foundation under Dyche. A team and club we can begin to feel proud of again.
  13. Chelsea defenders will really fancy Beto around now.
  14. and results aside the only poor performances have been Villa away and Arsenal at home. he has to take a lot of credit for the effort and patience he has showed in getting DCL fit.
  15. we are horrible to play againt at the moment. Trippier having the ball nicked off him twice kind of sums up what we are currently like as a team. Beto was not for being pushed of the ball, the Newcastle defender just bounced off him when he tried to shoulder barge him. This team will be on cloud 9 after tonight result.
  16. does highlight our lack of depth in the middle. Lets hope its nothing seriouse with Garner.
  17. difficult to call this game really - we are playing well generally and confidence is good. Again, think its going to come down to the our finishing, lets hope the law of averages kick in and some of our better chances hit the back of the net. As great as away wins are, there is nothing like home wins in front of a packed house.
  18. I really can't see much point in getting disheartened by Beto just yet. He really has only had limited minutes in a new team, new league and new country all very stop start for him. However, I would much rather him being in this squad as the back up striker over Maupy. Like all strikers a goal or two does your game wonders, and in the grand scheme of things he has had limited opertunities to bag them. Great to see McNeil get on the score sheet and in with a couple of great chances. Again, a few have been critical of his offensive play thus far, lets see what a goal now does for his confidence in the final third. You could see how much he enjoyed that. Not our best performance of the season, but another clean sheet and another 3 points. Points on the board single most important thing at the moment. I was a important win after the 3-0 home defeat to Man U, it really helps keep that positive momentum around the squad.
  19. Garner - the boy is maturing nicely this season. He is only really a handful of games in as a Premiership Midfeilder, and see him growing further. Really nice to see some of these younger lads take their oppertunities. It is also a good look for Everton - this is the place to come as a talented youngster, you get minutes on the pitch.
  20. myko shot hitting the bar pretty much somes the game up. fine margins been against us today.
  21. I agree this is the game to go bold for that 25 mins
  22. going to be one of those games today.
