There are times Welbeck has looked brilliant, better than Lacazette. Shakespeare has done a great job with Leicester, clearly the architect of their title winning team. Really well disciplined and they cover every blade.

That's not what you said though Bill. Put it this was Koeman had the chance to play Mirallas over Barkley and he rarely did. Probably tells you more about Mirallas position in the squad but he was a clear and obvious option to use instead of Ross and wasn't. Davies was given his chance centrally because Barkley was on the right and was playing well wide. Through the centre it's no contest tbh (in Davies should start).

Leeds, Millwall and Cheltenham maybe with Everton but I feel that's tempting fate!

Mirallas is one... Lookman second half... Geri first half... could have played DCL or used Davies. You can't deny that he chose to use him fairly regularly. Yes he dropped him a couple of times too but he played almost all the big games and he started after the nightclub incident when he could have easily been dropped.

How many players in our side scored more? 1? Unfortunately we aren't a side that creates bundles of chances and thankfully Rom was able to put most of them away. Ross isn't perfect but he was our best wide player last season and outside of the top 6 clubs there isn't a better player.

I think that moment has long gone. We have paid big money for others answer made a big money offer too. We have also received a fair wedge so teams will hold out for more. You have to balance whether a couple of extra mil is Worth the potential disruption to the start of the season.

Dont forget that you are only replacing 2 players so the other spaces would be taking spaces from others. Say Siggy replaces Kev and Klaasen replaces Davies. They scored 7 last season so with your very fair estimate thats 3 extra goals. Unless both played up front I don't see 20 goals out of Sandro and Rooney. If we do get Siggy in then these two wont even play every game. Its certainly possible but I just don't see it at this moment in time. It's very early days though!

That's not a perfect height at all, it's awkward but as I said he should still score. Watch the offside again FFS the real madrideal player has the ball. Rom is trying to cover the pass back to the keeper and goes offside and then the madrid player kicks it against Herera. Kroos is laughing because they funked up and got away with it.

I haven't seen it with Lookman yet. Not anything that says he is Prem quality but he is young and hasn't had much of a chance. Mirallas isn't good enough, people should stop trying to convince themselves that he is. I haven't seen anything from Klaasen to say he is creative. Imo his movement creates chances not his ability on the ball if that makes sense. I think there is more potential in the group of players we have now but as it stands I would have Rom and Ross ahead of all of them.

I don't get how anyone here can say that having now worked with him especially after he has likely had such a big impact on improving Rom and no doubt DCL too.
