Completely this. Everyone knows he isn't perfect but he will score 20+ a season in the PL alone. He won't be asked to lead the line alone at Utd and even in tough games he will get a couple of good chances.

That's the problem, he doesn't fill the gap. Rookie defending at times including heading a ball back into our own 18 yard box. Good attacking outlet but a poor defender.

I think I saw Pickford give him an earful at one point too.

The lad is a class act. There was such a gulf of class between him and Butland let alone him and Stek/Robles.

First half he was anonymous (bar the goal) but he really stepped it up in the second and ran the game. It was great to see!

They do but they also have a chance of winning multiple trophies which we realistically don't. Keeping that many players happy, who all joined expecting to start (which isn't necessarily the case other clubs) when you don't have a clear chance of winning trophies or champions league football will be difficult. My main point is that we have more holes and almost no depth in other positions and yet 4 or 5 players that are all very similar and want to play in similar areas on the pitch.

I get that but you can only have so many men on the field at one time. When you get another striker in, Bolasie gets fit and Siggy signs what happens then? They haven't all signed to sit on the bench. Including Barkley we will have 9 players for 4 attacking spots. 4 of which are best when they play as a striker.

Just had a look through a list of all Prem players to see if there was anyone that would fit what we need, central striker, wide midfielder and defender and there wasn't a lot that we could realistically get that we would actually want. Up front you get left with Giroud, Welbeck and Batshuayi but all of them are doubtful. Wide or attacking mid you have Siggy and Lanzini and at the back there is no-one.

Especially as we have signed two strikers that he doesn't seem to fancy as strikers.
