I just don't see why it needs to be in the public eye. It's stupidity tbh as there isn't one positive. It creates more questions, it can piss off the player and any positive effect it could have in respect of a kick up the ass could or should be said in private or in the dressing room.

I think some things might need to be clarified with Gana. He isn't creative and he doesn't do anything special on the ball but he doesn't stop moving and that's how he creates his space. If we play a defensive team with little space he will look average. Put him against a side that are looking to attack, leave space or with others that create space his movement will get him into really good positions like last night. For a terrible finisher he has scored 2 really nicely taken goals for us!

Me too. I wasn't very impressed with Lookman either. Persistent and worked hard but lacked almost any quality. His best moments came when he bubbled through the defender.

I think that most of the offsides were due to delayed passes where we hesitated. Not quite on the same wave length.

Gana. I thought it was one of his best all round games yet.

At times he looked really good in attack but he just isn't a very good positional defender. Against teams where we are defending lots he will be a liability.

Great first half, poor second half. Schneiderlin was class first half and we missed him in the second half. Gana was excellent too but looked a bit lost when Schneiderlin went off, giving them more space. Keane and Pickford were both brilliant again.

Lucky, very lucky. Martina showing how bad a defender he is, no idea who was behind him and then Rooney playing a shite ball. Really disappointed in the latter since the subs. Pickford superb again.

Yeh to an extent. From what I saw they looked better than I expected. It all depends on if that continues.

Some great crosses so far and he has been more aggressive. No other so good when he has needed to defend.

In fairness I think a few of our players started dropping back or hesitated because it didn't look like Lookmans pass was going to get to Martina. And the cross took a deflection.

Balanced but a surprise. Shame to see Kenny not even make the bench.
