I thought all of the promoted sides did well last weekend. It will be interesting to see how they get on. I would love to see Newcastle go down, Crystal Palace don't look the greatest and haven't bought well. Plus both of these have had AllarDyce before and he won't go back!

Ross has always said that he wants to be pushed and likes competition. You don't get as far as he has without it. The problem is more likely to be that Koeman called Ross out and not others. That would piss you off!

Just re-watching the highlights from the weekend. How anyone can say this guy did ok is beyond me. Absolutely all over the place at times, a really lazy attitude to defending too.

Great article on Sky about Gylfi. 71 players registered more chances from open play including 4 everton players. He registered the same open play chances, 25, as Barry and Gana. Ross created 54.

I thought his subs last night were a bit naive and he has a very Martinez style of playing out from the back which almost cost a couple of goals had Liverpool exploited them. They created a bucket loads of chances the other way though so he is doing something right!

This is presuming that Gylfi takes corners and freekicks. I expect he will but it's not guaranteed when you have the set piece takers we have. I wouldn't get your hopes up on shots from distance as I don't remember him scoring many.
