We talk about the harshness of some countries punishments, but to the above, in Singapore they take action for even 'inappropriate behavior' towards women, 'inappropriate touching', and even 'inappropriate language' can constitute a jail sentence of up to two years. Or though lesser punishments would seem more likely, such as a caning, mere fine, or a 'variety of punishments', whatever the fuck that entails.

Story is, most of us may complain from time to time about where we reside, but on the face of it, we're really qute liberated with regards to many other countries around the world and how even the most innocuous things we may see, can result in harsh outcomes by others who deem them beyond the pale. I wouldn't last five minutes in some of these nations damn it.

His production has been somewhat underwhelming. That being said, it's not completely all of his fault. Under Klinsmann he's really only come on as a second half substitute. As for in MLS, Chivas is the worst team in the league; there was no chance of him producing there. When he was with Red Bull he scored a decent number of goals. I'll reiterate that there is no doubting Agudelo's talent and athletic ability. It's all mental and tactical for him. With a good coaching staff he would be a quality player.

Ossie didn't even make his debut until he was 21. Like Barkley he had a bad injury that set him back a year and then he had spells with Carlisle (in the 3rd tier) and Derby County (in the 2nd tier) and then started to get onto the bench for the first team.
I know we're hopeful that Ross will be the next big thing but there is no need to rush him. Let him develop at his pace and then we can reap the rewards.

I am a bit upset that he didnt get a minute last night, and if i am honest....a bit worried. Seeing moyes comments that he needs to mature more too.

I think a mature young star could understand that he needs to take his time. But i worry that Barkley will not take his more than limited chances too well and feel that he needs a fresh start.

I was really expecting the boards to come up the second we hit 3....when it finally came up it was Naisy? then when the game was obviously won he gave Hitz a chance and left Barkley to sit and mope. i worry that Moyes is playing hardball with a young kid that is getting frustrated and thinks he deserves a game.

Personally i dont think he is anywhere near ready for the prem, but Moysey you need to send this kid out to enjoy himself. dont let him disapear into our reserves please.

I am not basing my thoughs on any rumours or anything though, just trying to understand whats happening.

well thats the fear, he may 'have' to throw them in rather than choose to give them the right games. Last night was the right game - big miss.

I don't know how people can question Dystin, his recovery and strength on the ball make a mockery of his age, without his pace at centre half we would be fucked.I think in reality Jonny is a player we could sacrifice to strengthen the midfield/forward line which i think is more important. Lets look at the facts were the first team in Prem history thats conceded and scored in 14 consecutive games, were gonna concede, we just need more options to outscore the others

Knowing Moyes he's eyeing a serviceable defender available on the cheap in the Japanese Third Division.

If we're honest, few of us have seen enough of us to pass opinion on him with much conviction.

He seems to have a lot of potential, but I'll trust Moyes to make the correct choices. If he goes on to have a promising career, then all the better and good on him, but it still could be here, who knows.

    That's great news.

People forget we plucked this lad out of the League of Ireland for less than some players weekly wage, and then set about playing him out of position on the wing. He's done himself proud for the most part, and at 24, is not even in his prime yet as a man, let alone a defender, so he has loads of time to get it right.

One of our best acquisitions under Moyes.

I love him but I'd take £7million for him. I wouldn't mind Lescott coming in on loan, like you said, and then from next season give Duffy more of a go. We'll never know if he can make it at this level if he's not given the opportunity.

Yeah I think Coleman's value to this team is becoming more and more apparent. I love Jags but he's pretty helpless with the ball at his feet in the offensive half of the field and he doesn't have great wheels. He certainly belongs in the center. Coleman's far from Philipp Lahm but he's a perfectly competent EPL fullback. I don't think we can justify taking him out even when Hibbo is healthy, no?

Even Timmy said in effect that you have to admit to yourself that the boat has sailed.
Love him in a manly way if we must, but FFS realise that when he left he was at least a season past his best. I prefer to remember him as he was.....see Paul McCartney if you need any further proof.
Thanks Timmy, you are IMO a true Evertonian, welcome at Goodison at any time. Take the applause........but leave your boots at home:)

Whilst the references to his nationality are uncalled for, a couple of them, ie the tweet about Tony Hibbert doing a better job are perfectly acceptable, no difference from us on this site saying gibbo does a better job than Neville etc. People are entitled to their opinions about how they feel a player is playing. Just not need for crass remarks about nationality, or wishing they were dead, that is uncalled for

A fat signing on fee and a good wage £45,000 i would imagine be fair. If we get him on a free, say give him £2 mill in the bank which is nice for a 22 year old and a good wage, nobody loses out. I think he would be a similar player to Ossie but with a far better passing range.

Just to put it into perspective - Phil Neville is on £50k a week. IMO he should be on his last year playing wise. I would sooner see his wages on a young talent who plays for one of the best national teams.

I think this fella is rated. Moyes has seen a lot of him. He has first team experience. For the 2 million quoted I think it's a goer.

We have risks with every one we sign, but so does everyone, look at Chelsea last year with Torres, he should have been a cert and Andy Carroll for silly money should have been smashing them in. I don't mind us risking £2m on a wonder kid who may take 18 months to settle in, as long as he comes good. If he pulls on a blue shirt and gives it his all I will sing his name.

Moyes has made some utter rubbish signings aka Koldrup and Bily, but he seems to make fewer. I'm trusting him on this one.
