We are missing Doucoure’s work rate and pressing, Danjuma needs to step it up if he wants to secure a place in the team.

This season is about not being in a relegation fight, about survival.
If we can achieve mid table safety then thats progress. I will take that.
To be fair we have played some nice football, good football. The more flowing expansive game will come with points and safety.

Bill is gone, may he rest in peace. For all his flaws, we do have the stadium on the docks, we did have European and Champions League football under his reign.
Whilst it could've and should've been better, now is not the time for debate. Best wishes to his family and friends. Let's let him rest.

I think he’s been improving steadily. Not wildly brilliant then terrible, but steady overall improvement. I think that’s indicates his base level is getting better which can only be a good thing.
I think there is potentially a very good player in there, but he seems to lack self belief. I’ve seen a few camera shots of him after he does something good (especially going forward) and he’s smiling like as if he’s saying “Wow, yeah, I can actually do this. I am good enough!”
Which funnily enough seems to conform with my impression that his mistakes are usually down to a kind of nervous panicking.
Thats just my read; as although my Polish is pretty good, the Ukrainian alphabet is completely different.

And let's not forget his set pieces are atrocious. 

And the amount of mistakes Young is making is too many, both fouls yesterday were stupid as examples.

The thing you hear about Young is that he’s an experienced player. Diving in on a yellow like he did is not what I expect from an experienced player. It’s awful play from him as he should know better.
As soon as that happened I pretty much stopped watching. Of course they’re gonna get a penalty at some point, of course they’re gonna have decisions go their way. Cos that’s how it goes, an experienced player would know that.
The result sucks and the manner of the result stinks.
But despite that, we did ok. We’re a team that’s on the way back up; that’s all I can take from this game.
It wasn’t a decisive win on their part - even though they had every kind of help to make it so. A soft pen and a late counter, hardly convincing.
 

It's obvious that Dyche sees Young and Coleman as the safer options. In Coleman's case that may very well be correct but Ashley Young is not the safe option at all.
If it's a choice between a senior player making mistakes or a younger player making mistakes while he's learning then I will choose the younger player every time.
The gain you get from going that way is far more advantageous in my opinion.

The ref made more mistakes than Dyche for sure.

Put money on Coleman playing the next game.

I've defended Keane in the past but there is no defence for his arm being out like that. What the fuck was he thinking?!
Inviting that much pressure for that long was always going to bring about a mistake like that though, it was just a matter of time.

Yeah, literally 60 seconds before the handball, I thought their pressure is too high and we’re not gonna be able to stay this deep and soak this up without conceding. Then of course Keano - reliable is as reliable does!
