Ian C
Game over; 2-1 Seamus Coleman was definitely our MoM, solid on the right and our best player when moved to the left. Constant bombing up and down the wings, some quality crosses too and even dribbled 60 yards to turn defence into attack all on his lonesome. Commentators seemed genuinely suprised and impressed by his quality. Match Highlights available from midnight on EvertonTV
jon1993
how did our two newest full signings do, peterlin and mustafi. Didnt get the time to listen to it unfortunately
Ian C
Mustafi and Peterlin did seem to do well enough, Bury didn't really get any decent attacks going, both goals were soft goals that were clearly conceded by lack of defence/corner drills. That said, don't know if either of them was meant to be marking Sodje on the corner for the second.
Romey 1878
Ah well, it's only pre-season. As long as we pick it up come August 15th then I'm not bothered.
Blue 250
Come on some of us on here have seen some very poor pre-seasons and friendlies, to then go on and really good seasons.....also pre-seasons where we win everything, only to go on and have crap seasons. Examples!.......I can't give you any......just trust me
Ian C
We lost to Cambridge last season and they're not even in the league
MikeO
An irrelevant result if ever there was one....just a run-out really.
Moe Joe
Coleman is a speedy bugger. Quicker than Baines for sure, lets hope he learns to tackle like Baines.
LexKing
Yeah , i dont mind results from these, really. Just get a lot of youngsters a time on the field. Like it seems to have done. Of course i would like to get streams from these. Lot of so far unknown players out there, who you really would like to take a better look on games like this(Duffy, Coleman, Baxter)
ftaylor
Saw an article a full page advertisement in a magazine today saying that the Everton v. MLS All-Stars game will be on ESPN 2 stateside. Nationally televised pre-season friendly... not bad at all.

Ian C
Everton: Turner, Hibbert, Baines, Duffy, Lescott, Neville, Wallace, Fellaini, Cahill, Saha, Jo. Subs: Nash, Vaughan, Baxter, Coleman. They can't be the only subs? Mustafi and Peterlin? Agard? Will be good to see how Wallace and Duffy do in with the senior players.
