chicagoblue
Even though I have EvertonTV I'm not aloud to watch this game apparently. Ya'll a bunch of Freedom Haters. How was Jo's goal?
Ian C
Decent touch, quality finish. Left channel, touch a bit wide, left footed shot low, placed and hard into the far corner.
Ian C
Coleman, Vaughan and Baxter on their way on soon. Cahill, Saha and Duffy off. Hibbert gone to centre-half. Edited July 18, 2009 by Grarghsies

Everton_Worshiper
Well, well, well, what a surprise that Fellaini is haveing a shocking game.
Everton_Worshiper
On the other hand, Wallace looks decent when on the ball!
Ian C
Tbh they both look off the pace. Fellaini's been pretty decent defensively though. Fellaini's recovering from an illness and missed a few days training and the match against Bury.

Ian C
Jo! Good work from Jo. Mistake from defender, Jo takes over, jinks the keeper and finishes with the right.
Romey 1878
That was a good work-out for the boys and they looked very comfortable. Of the youth players Wallace stood out for me and I expect him to be on the bench a lot next season, with appearances in the early rounds of the cups. Of our first-teamers I thought Neville had a very good game for us and Baines got better and better as the game went on. Hopefully by the time we play our next pre-season game we'll have a new face onboard.
craigb
fans had no need to run on the pitch there at the final whistle... good work out from the lads anyway, looked ok in 2nd half never reallly troubled
Ian C
Thought Jo was outstanding myself. Few sloppy touches early on but I'm really optimistic on his season at Everton once he gets games. Saha was good but I don't think he was playing in the right position. Seemed to be too deep for me, though he linked well with Jo and I can see Saha working well with the Yak. Moe Joe
Wow 2 for Jo. Can't wait to see the highlights. I'll be emailing EFC to ask if the river plate game is copyrighted (its in Argentina so here's hoping it aint.) Thanks for the news grarghies

He took both his goals well but looked sloppy in possesion and still has that annoying tendancy to fall over far too easily. Thought Saha was off the pace as well, still it was only a freindly so I suppose you cant really judge it too harshly
FairWooney
I'm hoping that the USA/Canada tour will be the making of Jo for us. I wasn't impressed with Jo's attitude last season but an away from home tour should help him bond with the squad more and get an idea of what our team and Moyes is about. The American tour has always been a success and I think it should have a huge benefit for him, it would be nice to see another new name or 2 to take in the tour as well though. Everton_Worshiper
Jo did what a goal scorer needs to do and score goals. Some of his link up play looks like he has taken lessons from Fellaini, but on the whole Jo had a good game. Imagine if this season Jo & Yak both get 15-20 goals each. Moe Joe
Jo looked much less stiff on the highlights. Much more energetic, lanky, and flexible. This pre season will do him wonders.
MikeO
MLS Allstars squad... Romey 1878
Maybe it's due to some of the American fans not being too fond of him at the moment?
