Rob W Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 excellent news, he is currently our best striker by far and that will save cash in the summer trying to find a replacement Quote
Churinga2 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 excellent news, he is currently our best striker by far and that will save cash in the summer trying to find a replacement Indeed, hopefully he can stay fit most of the time Quote
craigb Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 yeah my mate also phoned me to tell me this, he heard from someone, so its defintely doing the rounds, just hope i see it with a quote from him or Moyes then ill take it for definte Quote
Finn balor Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Happy days King Louis reigns :king: Quote
Romey 1878 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Good news, hopefully Peanuts will be next. Quote
Finn balor Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Thats the thing Bill should be concentrating on and give him what the top dogs are on. He deserves it, and it showed how much we missed him when he wasnt in the team and we couldn't beat an egg. Quote
Everton_Worshiper Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 At least Saha hasn't had his head turned by any other team. What this does give is Moyes a huge headache for team selection. Quote
Matt Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 At least Saha hasn't had his head turned by any other team. What this does give is Moyes a huge headache for team selection. Not sure his headache is going to be upfront, its clear cut to me. Its the midfield he is giong to struggle with when Arteta and Rodwell are back (IF Peanuts stays)... Quote
Romey 1878 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 It's clear cut there as well for me. Would you honestly even consider playing Rodwell ahead of either Fellaini or Arteta? I wouldn't. And Peanuts staying or going shouldn't affect it either; Rodwell will never play on the wing and Arteta should never play there again. So if Peanuts goes we need to bring someone new in. Quote

At least the midfield there is choice! Even at RB theres competition! Quote
tzp7zy Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 SSN confirm that Louis has signed 2 year extension this afternoon. Takes him to summer 2012. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 It's on the official site now too. Quote

It feels strange admitting it, but I agree, Rodwell shouldn't be played ahead of Fellaini based on current form. On Saha, great news he has officially signed. Quote
jcrawfor Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Hopefully Saha will be arsed to show up tomorrow having presumably signed up for a raise. Quote
Johnny Bryant Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Great news on King Louis signing up.. hopefully he can put in a good performance tomorrow Quote
Romey 1878 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Hopefully Saha will be arsed to show up tomorrow having presumably signed up for a raise. He might not get a chance because he's rumoured to be a doubt for the game. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Tbf, we don't know that he was greedy, it may have simply been paper talk. Quote
Hafnia Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Nothing greedy about him. He came pay as you play. Proved himself as quality, knows his market value and got it. Simple as. Tell me a striker of similar ilk who is on less than 60k a week. I just wish his ability was matched by desire, on his day he is awesome, when he doesn't feel like it get him off the pitch. Have a feelin that arteta will get the best out of him in the way gerrard does with torres. Quote
Ten Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 So he'll grab a brace at Anfield I think we were hoping...he didn't show up tho! but he can't be blamed, service was non existant! Quote
