...how was Bily? Seemed to be getting votes on the site, but then gets subbed?

Very poor, should have been off at half time.

He had a couple of chances and may have scored but that would've just covered up the fact that his general play is just not good enough.

Yep Bily only seems like he can play a half at the moment, but something like that can only get better if he keeps starting. Alas I think Osman may play against Blackpool.

Ossie has done more for Everton than Bily ever will. Hope he starts.

I agree with Ossie statement but would actually prefer to see Bily in home games against teams like Blackpool (no disrespect to them). We must play 4-4-2 and Beckford/Saha must be the 2. If Cahill is back/fit he must move into a central 2 with Felli. Arteta must play out wide (replacing Bily) or be prepared to spend some time on the bench.

Ossie was even less useful than Bily. At least Bily came alive when he was further up the pitch (where he belongs IMO), whereas Osman did nothing of any note.

Was talking long term rather than last night.

Bily has a shot on him but no discernable ball control skills...he's never going to come good wherever he plays imo.

Billy is flat footed, simple as that. He has the ball at his feet and tries to look composed by not actually shifting the ball, his attempt to beat someone is to often feign to shoot or cross. Totally not suited to the prem.

We agree on something Hafnia mate....lets party :celebrate: !

Has any player ever recieved 100% of a vote?

I think Felli did last season vs man city

True about Felli....got 41 when the site was struggling with constant crashing so it could have been more. God we were so optimistic then  .

Seamus got 56 out of 59 for the Spurs game the previous month.

I agree with both the last 2 points. In games where we are playing positive and attacking the other team (especially if we keep possession) he is pretty dangerous and he naturally gets involved (dont forget he got into several scoring positions yesterday) and with more confidence Im sure he could be more than useful.

However, we dont really get too many games where we play that fluidly and and if defences get set and prepared even Stephen Hawkins could mark him. He doesnt work hard enough to win the ball back and he doesnt work hard enough to create space to receieve a pass. Too many times Baines had to play it long to Saha because Bily stood there, marked tightly and didnt even attempt to look to get the ball off Baines or create room for someone else.

However having a pop at him and no-one else is harsh as there were plenty who were shite and not bringing anything to the team.

Anyway its Felli Motm. Its depressing that he is pretty much too good for us now and Id be very surprised if he is hear come August. I just hope Moyes doesnt try and make him into a hate figure again because he wants to move to a more successful & ambitious club.
