It's not like outfield players where you can switch them around, goalkeeping is probably the most specialist position there is. I know it's rare for two keepers to get injured at once, but that doesn't need to happen, you only need to lose one long term, and if your number 3 isn't upto scratch, then you have no cover. Anyway, who's to say it's not a reaction to Mucha giving that pen away the other night? That might be a part of his game the coaching staff have had reservations about.
