c1982
I can picture the Cameroonian - was a goal machine but didn't do much at Sunderland! He played for Parma or someone like that in Italy!

Zoo
Da Silva from Paraguay. Da Silva is right that's the only answer I can find that is though (Altidore played for Hull). I can picture the Cameroonian - was a goal machine but didn't do much at Sunderland! He played for Parma or someone like that in Italy! You're on the right lines. A Cameroon/Sunderland played was at the World Cup in 2002.

MikeO
M'Boma. Dave Watson (thought of him yesterday while I was out and forgot to post it when I got home). Maybe Colin Todd....think he went to Mexico '70 but he might have been at Derby by then.

Zoo
M'Boma. Yeah thats right, Patrick M'Boma represented Cameroon at the 2002 World Cup whilst playing for Sunderland at the same time. c1982 was on the right lines with da Silva too, he was sold from Sunderland to Real Zaragoza in 2011 after falling out of favour with the club. Clues: WW: Represented England at the 1950 World Cup. BB: Represented Northern Ireland at the 1958 World Cup. SA: Represented England at the 1962 World Cup. Dalziel Kane
Since when did Bremner play for Northern Ireland, and it is Bingham for that one. The first could be William Wright, but the third one evades me. Damn annoying too as I read all up on the 1962 Finals in Chile and one the players almost died and Greaves became a national hero in Brazil but I don't recognize the initials.
