chicagoblue
Don't think Gueye just missed one touch. Has played several poor passes, tried to run it out of the back only to give it away on the edge of our box and just doesn't seem to be able to stay focused. He'll play a few good touches then checks out.
Dalziel Kane
I would rather look directly into the sun than watch anything on ITV, but this night I've made an exception. Missed the first 30 minutes, got in late, but all the second half to look forward to. Haven't seen the jelavic goal but they've gone to a commercial break and should have it on during the interval. Only 45 minutes away from a trip to the national stadium - semi finals should not be played at such a venue - and a meeting with the shite, oh christ, the fat slug Chiles is in the studio , Roy Keane and Reid also. From all accounts we deserve our lead, just seen the goal, what a good finish it was. Feeling hopeful we can maintain our advantage and into the semi-finals once again. Oh my days, more fucking commercials on again..
marcopaulo
Been a decent half just thought we were starting to slack off at the end of the end. I actually think Gibson has been a little disappointing so far. Not really doing much to support defence & attack. Him and Felli don't really look as if they are sure whether they are supposed to sit or close down, and when we get caught its because both of them have pushed forward. Heitinga has been a rock, and Jelavic has been lively. Gueye started the game really well but looked as if he was losing his confidence as it went on. When he makes forward runs he looks dangerous & exciting but he seems to have slowed his movement. i noticed that...bit odd given he set up a goal with a crackin ball in
adziom
Oh my days, more fucking commercials on again.. Yeah there was three ad breaks between the start of the program at 7.30 and kick off at 8. Ridiculous
Steve_E
Leave Gueye on. Better than Anichebe on the wing. He's got some crosses in, got us some corners, he makes himself available and he's been trying to speed the game up by laying it off for Bainesy. Of course, he's not gonna be the best man on the pitch though, but you can't really expect that, can you? Also, Neville has been flawless. Dalziel Kane
This will for me, make up or go some way to redeem for that embarrassing defeat at Anfield. What a difference from that night, Everton actually are playing well this night. Feeling really confident, fuck me I'd thought we scored a third there. Jelavic looks like a decent player sometimes. Hafnia
Ahhhhh, In a mad way I don't mind that he missed in that style, he knew what he was doing. That's what you get with none panicky finishers

Hafnia
What I like is he's very similar to yak In the fact that he doesn't just hit the target or try to. Every effort is directed to a corner. His link up play and work rate is mega, lovin him. - jelly Edited March 27, 2012 by Hafnia
Matt
I'm liking Jelavic quite well, but he needs to finish that. im still not convinced. seems to moan when he goes down, misses quite a few sitters.... but he does score important goals, which is making up for it at the moment
MikeO
Should be three or four at least...we're tearing them a new one. Just don't drop back....keep pushing for the third!
Steve_E
I think it's been Jelavic's best game for us so far. Should have had 2, but other than that he's been great.
