Dalziel Kane
And then you would have been writing your resume and looking for another employer.. Incidents like these seem a dime a dozen, players having a spontaneous moment of anger or frustration. How many times have we seen it. Kicked a water holder and stormed off in the heat of the moment. you can appreciate his frustrations. Playing goal and taken off after 20 minutes due to his manager deciding he was having a bad game. I would have been less than happy too. I think some players today earn far too much, doesn't matter how good you are, some of the salaries in world soccer today are fucking ludicrous. Even if Ronaldo is missing out on £15,000 a week is it, think of the good that could do to world causes.

Bollocks, every player should refuse to shake John Terry's hand (I will not call him JT cos that's what his shithouse bum chums call him) The arrogant prick clearly racially abused Ferdinand and got off with it due to a technicality - he shouldn't be allowed to earn such a living. MikeO
Extremely rare that I gamble but I just saw that Sunderland are quite decent odds for the win today....12/5 while Liverpool are pretty much evens. I don't know of any other results today other than above mentioned, and don't wish to be aware of any such information. Just looking ahead (as a figure of speech) towards Monday at the most relevant fixture there is. We should have been playing this weekend, but all games at 3pm on a saturday afternoon are a far distant event of the past.

Zoo
Messi is on for ten minutes and has two goals. One of them from the penalty spot (when he should have had another penalty before) which he converted down the middle and then a lovely little bit of play with his team-mates a few minutes later leads to another goal. Getafe have just scored through a Masherano own goal; 3-1 at the moment, 81 minutes gone.
Dalziel Kane
I can see what's going on but I didn't fully realize that the shite game had ended all square. Should I be pleased with that, no, should we be pleased with that, after all, it does represent that Liverpool didn't get a win, I'm still under some belief they haven't even had a first win yet, but probably wrong. I would have wanted a Black Cats victory though, without question, but we'll make do with what we got. Rogers still not taking effect, but didn't think he would do wonderous things, but it's still early days. Needless to say I didn't watch any highlights last night. Zoo
Real Madrid lost . Real Madrid were shite too, they were all over the place for the first goal and never really got into the game. Gonzalo Higuain should have been off the pitch too after kicking out on Navarro early on but the referee chose not to see it. Barcelona played a lot better, Messi was rested up untl the 60th minute and even though his two goals were simple (penalty and a tap-in) it was amazing how he transformed the game. When Lionel came on there was only going to be one team in it - 8 points clear now for the Catalans.

Also Naughton looks nothing like the player motd make him out to be. Reading look miles away from the team that gave Chelsea a game, and will be thankful Spurs have been rubbish otherwise this could have been very embarrassing. Dalziel Kane
Alright, it appears it's Reading and Tottenham in action and the latter is about ready for a victory. Can't really be impartial about this as I would have wanted Reading for a success. Is this the only fixture today, or I'm thinking there could be another game about now or early evening? If the only game, would it really be worth the BBC putting on that highlights show tonight, what I mean is, all the action from yesterday would have been featured last night and only one fixture on the sunday, and they bother to have another show for it? I said 'no more thought on todays games' but I'm my own worst enemy sometimes. The game must be over by now and it looks like Royals have themselves a defeat. It is a pity. Dalziel Kane
This is getting desperate but apparently there was a game in the championship league today and an all Midlands clash with Leicester City and Wolverhampton and the latter had a 2-1 success that takes them out of the drop zone and I was quite pleased with that, albeit on a very small scale, only because I think they're a decent club and it would be a shame to see them in the third division next season. I hope they can make their way back up the league. There was no fixtures in the SPL today strangely enough.
pete0
This is classic peteO It must be opposite Sunday again!!! The man has no talent, positional sense is dreadful, one-footed, can't pass (so his link up play is terrible also), no accuracy in his shots he just swing his boot and hopes for the best, can't head the ball (probs due to his lack of positional awareness), his conversion rate from the spot is possibly the worst in football history. Dalziel Kane
I actually have thought Defoe in recent years, was a decent player, someone who could come on second half for you and make an impact or play a pivotal part. Hasn't really hit it off at international level, but has impressed often enough at various clubs. I'm sure we were linked with him once or twice in recent years, someone I maybe wouldn't have minded to have seen play here. Surely must be on the wrong side of 30 now, but not going to check. Seems accurate enough.

Dalziel Kane
I know nothing about the game mentioned, will maybe have a look another time, nothing against City, but would have prefered Madrid for a success, I was a bit of a fan of the side they had 10 or 12 years ago. This is (games highlighted) European Soccer by the way. I should add there is little chance of Ch$£*ea retaining the cup next season, with Drogba gone for a start, and I just don't think they have the capabilities to win again next year. No side since AC Milan in 1990 has retained the European Cup, and it won't be next year either. And least the Italians did it in style instead of putting ten men behind the fucking ball for 120 minutes and playing for a shoot out, which is exactly what Milan's 1989 defated opponents (Steaua Bucharest) did to Barcelona in 1986 when the Romanians 'won it'. We merely saw a carbon copy this year. Champions of Europe my butt.. you don't win tournaments or become the best like that. I can feel myself irritated by this now so I'm going to leave it.
