I did see some fan mockups elsewhere as well as here and I really like the idea of adding a circle around the badge with the motto. Found it - I really like this one: http://i39.tinypic.com/333wy8m.png But maybe "Everton" should be taken out of the badge and moved to the circle so that we don't repeat NSNO twice? The badge isn't intricate in design, and a bit plain, but the fuss it caused has been bandwagoned and encouraged on the Internet. 90% of those who make a fuss probably didn't really care too much before somebody else pointed things out. Still maintain it's simply not as appealing as the last one although the tower is a truer representation than before, but that still doesn't make it so. You can appreciate why so many took issue with it, at first glance it is a bit questionable, but as with all things over time, you either get used to it, or continue to show disapproval. What we have here is no different. Don't hate it, there's no palpable loathing involved, just think they could have come up with something better, or best of all - not even changed the damn thing to begin with.
