Peter H
He is supposed to be Denmarks future. Lots of danes think that he is going to be the danish answer to Ibrahimovic

Peter H
Nope, he wont be an Ibrahimovic, not the same type of player but they think that he will make the same impact for Denmark that Ibra has had for Sweden. Might happen, he is really good. Not a finished accomplished striker yet but deffo a lot of potential. More than Vellios. Steve_E
Steve_E
We've had an £8m bid rejected according to Danish media (source: http://www.tipsbladet.dk/nyhed/superliga/medie-fck-siger-nej-til-60-millioner) Sorry, that's €8m or £6.8m. Peter H
Worth under 2 mil according to Transfermarkt. Sounds more like it. Dont think the newspaper is right this time. 2 of the biggest transfers in scandinavian history is Ibrahimovic to Ajax from Malmö at around 8 mil and Fredrik Ljungberg to Arsenal from Halmstad at around 5 mil. Dont think Cornelius is threatening either transfer fees.

Dont think Cornelius is threatening either transfer fees. Those were more than 10 years ago though. Transfer fees have inflated since then. There's supposed to be a lot of other teams interested (Dortmund, Hamburg, other English teams). He's 20 years old and he's scored 25 goals in his first full season, I don't think £7m would be unrealistic. Certainly can't see them selling him for under 2 mil, what would motivate them to do that? Iamryanstover
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxBhbE_1330 Here is a nice video of scoring chances from Cornelius. Shows good touch and agility for a big guy, and a strong eye for goal(not surprising). He is willing to try some pretty goals, but he needs to learn to put a little more power into his header, although he seems equally adept with his feet and head. Seems to have good recognition for when to use his body to win the ball from smaller defenders. Overall, not ready to be a star in the Prem, but ready to be a productive Prem player, and you can see all the tools there for him to develop into a star. mcirony
Looks good on the video, though it's difficult to gauge how good he really is from a show reel! I like that he looks strong, especially in the air, as we've been missing a real prescence in the box from set pieces since Timmy left ( other than Felli who gets double man marked every time!). marcopaulo
another reason i'd like to see duffy given a chance...seems to make more use of his size in the opposition box than distin does..a guy the size of distin really should get on the end of more free kicks and corners SimonButtle

Even when Distin gets his head on things they very rarely go on target. Duffy knows where the goal is and if he is able to stake a regular place in the team, then he will be a real threat. Romey 1878
That's because Distin has a square head, it's physics!! I prefer to think of it as a 50p head. You literally cannot account for where the ball will go when he gets his head to it. I'm terrified whenever he's heading inside our penalty area.
