Only a year left on his contract and seemingly (if true) surplus to requirements at both United and Real. £10m seems a bit steep in the circumstances but no idea how he's played this season, six goals in twenty-two games (according to Dr Wiki) seems reasonable but there are an awful lot of shit teams in Spain who he could have got them against; two came in an 8-2 win over dismal Deportivo for example.
