Elston Gunnn
I fully concede that I have no faith at all right now in Barkley. His play over the last several matches has been abysmal. Too much dribbling, rarely shoots, wanders around looking lost, loafs on defense. Paul Merson's first words about the Southampton goal were, "Barkley doesn't follow his man." If he isn't going to dominate with the ball at his feet rushing forward, knock defenders off, and blast it from near the edge of the box, he's just a liability the rest of this season. Newty82
I thought we knocked Chelsea out of the cup and will be playing next weekend at Wembley! Yeah we did and yes we are. Ha, what's your point there?! You're speaking to the wrong person if your trying to put a positive spin on it. I've been as positive as anyone until...well...I spilled the beans today. Newty82
Turncoat . Hahaha...I feel a bit like that. But honestly, it's not a sudden thing. I've kept a lid on it for a while and kept hoping and believing...but I'm afraid it's gone! But I look forward to the future. We still have a good squad and hopefully a good new investor. He got off to such a great start, no? There was a point this season when I was saying to myself "OK, now I get what all the fuss is with this kid". I can't remember when that was though to be honest. I think the first 3rd of the season he was class...scoring goals and creating them. But then that was our best spell of the season too. chalkpie
Baz absolutely spot on with this assessment. He is right for kudos towards Gibson and acknowledging the bizarro Niasse situation. PS - very interesting what he says about the Moshiri contact Edited April 18, 2016 by chalkpie
Sideliner
Osman at nr 10 was a disaster - no service to wings - should have been taken off at half time. Martinez did not really want to chase the game or he was just stupid keeping Osman on the pitch for as long as he did.
Shukes
Didn't watch it but on the video above he says Ossie was the one decent player on the first half. Sounds like our attacking trio of Kone, Mirralas and Gerry were awful. Not even sure I want to watch the highlights haha.

Bizarre assessment! Romey 1878
